reviewsWhat Members Say

Members overwhelmingly praise the studio's welcoming atmosphere and excellent teaching, with many specifically mentioning instructor Kelli's positive energy and ability to accommodate all skill levels. Reviewers frequently highlight the effective hot yoga sessions, use of singing bowls, and clean facilities with convenient parking. Several mention transformative experiences and feeling renewed after classes. However, one detailed negative review describes disturbing interactions with the owner, including inappropriate behavior during class and offensive language, though this appears to be an isolated experience among the predominantly positive feedback.

The studio and teachers are warm and welcoming. If you thinking about trying hot yoga or any class they offer you will not regret it. The owner is down to earth and knows how to run a studio. He also has an adorable dog.

I was missing my yoga while on vacation in Half Moon Bay so decided to drop in to Pacifica Beach Yoga. A nice vinyasa flow to sweat out some vacation booze was exactly what I needed. I love my home studio and grabbing classes on the road can be hit or miss but I felt really welcomed here. This studio has a soul and Kelli’s class was awesome. The heat was toasty nice and perfect level of flow to accommodate all levels. The singing bowls at the beginning and end of class were truly gorgeous. I would certainly come here again while visiting the coast.

Talk about a little slice of heaven!!! I have attended PBY a handful of times over the last few months and it has been truly life changing! Great atmosphere inside and great back patio w/ outdoor showers. My instructor Kelli has such a positive aura and really takes the practice of yoga and turns it into an amazing experience. Starting and ending with sound bowls to remove any negative energy from the body is a definite plus in this class. Kelli is very experienced but is able to keep a really good balance for both beginner and advanced students ( offering more advanced poses or alternatives to rest). She communicates in a way that anyone could follow and she is very sweet and relaxed in her nature. With the heat cranked up and a very consistent flow to her class, I get in a sweat like I have never experienced. After Kellis class I feel renewed and ready to take on the day. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Kelli and Pacific Beach Yoga!!!

Just wondering if anyone else has also endured such strange and frankly perturbing lessons as I have at this studio? Will not be coming back after this one I’m afraid Me and the husband — Robert — signed up for classes not a fortnight or 2 ago, we show up for our first session and arrive to a studio smelling of fish and animal urine. Nobody was present besides the owner of the establishment who welcomed us in with a haunting grin. Our time was nothing short of frightening. He had us hold the downward dog position for a solid 40 minutes and began closely inspecting my husbands rear. NOT ok!! Second of all, I am diabetic and must inject insulin, however when I needed to excuse myself to do so the owner of this shop abruptly called me a racial slur and instructed me to leave the premises immediately. When I attempted to bring my husband with me, the owner lunged upon him and forbade him from leaving the studio, calling him names such as “sweetie pie” and “honey bear.” I do not know if this is normal behavior for yoga studios but we did not enjoy, would not recommend unless You are into that leftist woke environment the owner here is so prone to creating…
