Been going for a year and I can’t get over how great of a facility Pacific Pipe is. There’s plenty of walls for boulders and sports climbing. The routes reset often so it never gets boring. Kaya is accessible for all the beta help you need. Even the gym equipments are well maintained and new machines are still being added. The locker rooms and showers are cleaned and well stocked. The community here is also top notch.

Update: after climbing here for around a year, I achieved my goal of topping 100 × V4 boulders! (and 28 × V5, 1 × V6)✌️ The best climbing gym I have ever climbed. And also the 1st V4, V5, and V6 sent here. Highly recommend it! Don't forget to watch the video on YouTube from Magnus Mitblo reviewing this gym! Now, it's my family's weekend gym!

Wonderful day spent on a rainy Sunday-adults & kids all had a great time climbing. Staff were really friendly despite it being hectic and busy. Lots of bouldering & climb routes- really huge inside! Other climbers were all really nice- it’s a positive vibe. Facilities are clean, great condition and the weights and exercise equipment section looked fabulous too. Restroom clean & lockers available. Prices are totally reasonable. Harness & shoes available for rent. Taco truck outside plus they were totally cool w us bringing in our own snacks & drinks & had some tables to sit at & eat ( keep all drinks & food away from climbing area). Do NOT leave anything in your car- break ins are common throughout the city. That said, we parked in dirt lot out back all day & it was fine. Will def be back.

This place is fantastic. Good classes, great climbing, and an awesome sauna. It gets busy at times, but it never feels too crowded to get a climb in. There's almost always available routes for top-roping as well.

Nice gym, lots of routes. Pros: Lots of routes. Lots of bouldering. Top tier lifting area. Plenty of cleaning supplies in fitness area. Larger, hot, sauna. Nice showers. Cons: Not heated (bring a puffy, beanie, and slippers). Sauna gets rowdy sometimes so kills the peaceful vibe. The “find a climbing partner wall” gets taken over by political graffiti sometimes. Assault bikes are terrible. Most sandbagged and inconsistent grading I’ve ever seen and been to most of the major chains/gyms in OR, WA, CO, UT, MT, VA, and San Diego. Very common for the 5.7 to be harder than the 10B beside it. Total talk of the local community and everyone I’ve met here who’s not from here. It’s wild. My experience level is learned to climb outside, at Smith Rock, and have led 5.11d Sport, 5.10D Trad, and M9-WI6 Ice. Multi-pitch and simul-cimbed 1,000’ rock and ice routes.
