MX3 is clean, good value, and a great place to workout. Their business model is so much better than standard gyms, never wait for equipment, and never have to deal with crowds or self absorbed meat heads taking selfies. All 3 locations are fantastic

I’ve been training with Govinda at MX3 fitness for a few months now and it’s been a fantastic experience with clear results. He builds thoughtful and customized training programs that approach your body as an integrated system, and help you become much more aware of how one challenge or strength is connected to another, which is super helpful. Second – and this is really critical – Govinda has a talent for explaining physical movements in simple and intuitive language. I’ve worked with other trainers who had the deep physiological expertise but didn’t have that gift for making it easy for us non-professionals to understand and translate into action. That means sessions are more efficient and you learn faster, which is huge. Third, he’s motivating, humble, and meets you where you are. Govinda is awesome! The facilities at MX3 are great – excellent use of space, minimalist, and welcoming. Over time you’ll be amazed at how much you can accomplish with relatively little equipment. And the less dependent your routines are on unique and specialized equipment, the easier they are to replicate at home, when traveling, when waiting for MUNI, or really anywhere!
