I accidently ended up at this one instead of the one I was intending to visit/ try out. Ended up spending 25 for parking then 25 for a day pass because the free pass is only if you plan on signing up. This gym is extremely small but has what you need to get a decent work out in. Giving it 5 star because it was clean, the equipment worked and they staff member was kind, I wouldnt be able to use this as a long term gym though

The Nob Hill location has great equipment, a friendly community and is never too crowded (even during peak hours). The general manager is always incredibly welcoming and responsive and the gym equipment is clean and up to date. Overall an amazing neighborhood gym!

The only thing this gym has going for it is its convenient location. It’s pretty overpriced for what it is, also how ghetto is this set up there’s literally like an air conditioner leaking from the ceiling lol. At least the air conditioner is working again finally, it was busted for a few months before.

I was a member here for nearly a year, I can say with confidence that it falls well short of expectations especially given what they charge. The location is convenient, and that's genuinely the only positive I can think of. Everything else was a letdown. Much of the equipment was outdated, and bathroom hygiene was consistently below standard during my time there. There was also a roof leak for a period of time, which raised concerns about overall maintenance. I hope they fixed it by now. My main issue was with the personal training experience. I worked with a trainer named Akira, and communication and scheduling were ongoing challenges. There were multiple instances where I had to follow up repeatedly or include management just to receive a response, along with last-minute schedule changes. During sessions, when I struggled with certain techniques, the instructions were often repeated in the same way rather than adapted which made it difficult to progress. After switching to a different gym and trainer, the contrast in communication, professionalism, and instructional quality was clear. Overall, while the location is a strong point, the facility conditions and personal training experience did not justify the cost.

I've been a part of this gym for a while. I think 90% of us come here because of the location convenience, meaning, we all live around the area and unfortunately there aren't many options around. It's a very basic gym, super small and with minimum equipment. They don't have towels, don't offer locker rooms, the bathroom is constantly dirty, their ventilation system stops working often; and whenever an equipment fails, it takes them forever to fix it or get the part to replace it. There's also long hours where no one is in the front desk, and even when they're there, they'll barely say "hello" which feels impersonal. The personal coaches from their gym, will make sure to take all the already small free-weights area, so only them and whoever they're coaching, are the only ones able to get to use that space. On top of it, they'll turn off their ventilators and air conditioning system at 8:30 pm, so good luck if you're trying to get a workout done at that time, or run on the treadmill. The gym closes at 11 pm, BUT, they won't allow you to enter pass 10 pm, because apparently we all have to pay the price for a few customers that broke the rule of entering or leaving after 11 pm. I'm also a member of the YMCA, which in contrast offers way more, for $88, only reason I don't have it as my only sports facility, is because they close pretty early. I think LiveFit thinks of themselves as a "prestigious" gym, when in reality is just an overpriced gym that offers the bare minimum and somehow they get away with it. They need to do better.
