reviewsWhat Members Say
Members praise the well-kept facility and its extensive amenities, particularly highlighting the large indoor pool that is rarely crowded and excellent for lap swimming. Specific classes like water aerobics on odd days receive positive mentions, and seniors appreciate affordable pass options. However, some members report negative interactions with staff, describing them as rude and overly policed during workouts. Additional concerns include unexpected closures during student holidays, early summer closures at 7 p.m., and restricted access hours for certain pass holders, which are not always clearly communicated during membership sign-up.

Well kept facility in middle of SF. Passed available for USF alumni, Seniors and Diabled people. I come mainly for the Olympic swimming pool It’s great for practice swimming 25yard laps. Has deep ends to 13ft for practicing deep dives. The gym has all other facilities for working out, stretching, combative and martial arts, basketball and volleyball courts.

If you’re 55 or over you can get a 15 visit pass for $4 a visit. Unless you plan on going to the gym more than 4 days a week, there isn’t a better deal in the city. They have a good selection of weight machines, free weights, cardio equipment and the biggest indoor pool in the area that’s rarely even close to full. Only limitation is you have to visit before 2PM M-F, and when school isn’t in session they’re closed Sundays.

BEWARE: RUDE STAFF! They will police you while you workout and call you out in public. How rude can you get and BTW, we‘re paying long-time members in good standing. Shame on you!

Awful experience. The gym is often closed during student holidays, and in the summer it closes at 7 p.m., which is not mentioned when you purchase an annual membership. I would avoid this place and go to a regular gym with normal opening hours.
