Hot Yoga Plus Seacliff

I love Akiko. She doesn't do extra long pauses to show the moves just, keeps you flowing so by the end you are really feeling like you worked as hard as you possibly could for a full hour. I invested in the year membership so I don't feel like I have to be so choosey about only going to my favorite teachers for inferno pilates with a limited class card. Now I've been trying the 26-2 yoga more and getting to know other teachers' styles. Kito is back, he takes it slow til your muscles shake, Kai is high power with props, Alyssa is a chill flow that builds towards cardio at the end. Clo has a killer playlist and incorporates classic gym reps. Marlene is really hard and hot 26-2! Overall great studio. Clean and nice people. Just need to get a new water fountain!

Alyssa is my top pick for hot pilates in the studio. I used to struggle with back pain, but after attending her classes 2-3 times a week, it's almost gone. Her playlists are the best and she teaches with so much passion.

My class was 6:30pm, I was there at 6:30pm, the door was locked. Once the door is locked then you can’t get in. Ridiculous. Should have 1-2mins room to see if some people show up late (it happens!). Parking was also difficult to find! It took me 10 mins to circle the area until I got a space!

I was going to this studio regularly for a month. The instructors are really good, but the studio is dirty. It gave me athletes foot on one foot (which I have never gotten and I shower directly after every class). Never going back! Please take sanitation more seriously, it is worth just getting a cleaning person once a month.

Hot yoga has been a part of my lifestyle for over two decades, and have been to different studios throughout the Bay Area, Bali and Thailand. I have never had an unpleasant experience from fellow students, teachers or management, until now. I had been to Hot Yoga Plus Seacliff with my last attendance In June 2022. Over the past six months, I have received offers from Groupon to repurchase a two weeks or one month pass. Groupon also stated that I could purchase this deal an "unlimited number of times". See the picture. The instructor checked into class. About three hours later, to my surprise, I received an email from Seacliff informing me they were rejecting my Groupon and I owed for the class. I immediately replied and shared screenshots of my Groupon offer an invitation to repurchase. Instead of going back and forth, I informed them I would request a refund and not attend any more classes. After six days and their investigation, Groupon offered me a refund. A few hours later, I received a text message from Seacliff informing me I owed for two classes. It has now become petty and not so surprising, unprofessional, which I refuse to engage. I intend to take further action as l believe Seacliff is engaging in manipulating business practices. They are offering a Groupon deal to customers, but giving them the option to use it for a regular-priced pass. I believe this is intentional because others have had problems using their Groupon.
