Louis gave me 1:1 training for hiit/weight training. I gained leaned muscle, lost weight, and most importantly gained more functional fitness. I kept track of my stats in his notes, which he gave me whenever I asked. He was organized and methodical. Other trainers haven’t gotten me lifting as heavy as I did with Louis. I think big part of it was just how much fun we had. Louis makes you laugh and smile at the same time you’re panting and sweating through a tough workout. My adhd brain never got bored either- our sessions were always different. He’s super efficient too. In 1 hour we’d warmup, stretch (warm up/cool down), do functional moves I wanted to learn (eg pistol squats, handstands), weight lifting (squats, dead lifts), and hiit cardio. With TABATAs, he gets you to use the time efficiently. He’s flexible with his scheduling too. Urbano has tons of new equipment for a variety of workouts. It’s not too crowded and the location is easy to get to, just off the freeway. Parking is ok by SF standards:)

I took the functional training class from Louis at this gym. The gym is clean and well maintained, and I appreciated Louis’s training approach and attention to form. He tailored workouts based on individual needs and gives clear, practical guidance. Highly recommended!

I have been a trainer here for just a short time (about 6 months) and this place is super legit! I would train clients here long term, but I am moving out of the area. There is lots of space, a wide variety of tools and it never gets crowded to the degree that you can’t get work in. The owners, Luis and Kevin, are super easy to work with, have easy to follow fair policies and very attentive when you need something. They also are meticulous about the gym organization/cleanliness and keeping things nice – you’ll notice signs and instructions for how equipment is to be used. This is something I appreciate tremendously as a former gym owner! As such, things are always where you expect them, things stay nice and everyone at the gym (members and trainers alike) are all on the same page. I have conducted a ton of amazing sessions here with clients and blasted some great workouts here myself. Highly recommended training facility!

I was a member for 2.5 years before having to move. This is the best gym you can find in San Francisco. It has everything you need, always clean, and never too busy. All for a reasonable price. I had to pause my membership a couple of times for travel and the ownership was always responsive. Cannot recommend it enough if you’re a person looking for a clean place to get a serious workout in. They don’t offer classes so if you’re looking for that, you should check out Equinox instead. Edit/update: I have unfortunately had to move elsewhere in the city which makes this gym hard to keep going to and looking at other gyms in SF and I can say that it is without a doubt, the BEST gym for the money in SF. Anything similar in cost will be far worse (worse equipment, more cramped, dirtier). You probably have to sign up for Equinox to get close. Cannot recommend enough. Luis/Kevin please open another location so I can keep going!!

This gym is neat and prioritizes free weight training. It offers convenient access through an app, enabling you to register and handle your membership entirely online. I'm not a fan of the manual check-in process in addition to using door access. It would be more efficient to solely rely on door access for verifying membership. The manual check-in just adds unnecessary extra work.
