Cross 7x7 has been an awesome gym, especially as someone new to both SF and CrossFit. It’s genuinely welcoming to beginners, but at the same time there’s infinite room to improve - you’ll never get bored. There’s a huge range of skill levels and movements to work toward, so it always feels challenging (in a good way). The coaches are awesome. Super knowledgeable and approachable. Martin and the rest of the staff go out of their way to build real community through events and by actually listening to what members want. In summary: Challenging workouts, with kind people, at a BEAUTIFUL location. Can’t recommend it enough!

Welcoming gym with challenging workouts! Come here for their Saturday morning Hyrox workouts. My friends and I make the trek up from Mission because the running route along the water is beautiful. People of all fitness levels are welcome in the class and they correct your form. First 30 min is warmup + exercise technique, then a 60 min workout (90 min total). No shower, but they have face and body wipes. Sunscreen provided. It’s a no frills gym, but all the equipment is clean. There’s also a strong community. Very active WhatsApp group. A lot of members do races together and cheer each other on remotely. The owners are incredibly nice and friendly.

This review is long overdue! Joining CrossFit 7x7 has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I hadn’t worked out consistently or challenged myself in years before joining. I felt out of shape and nervous to join a CrossFit gym but I’m so glad I did! Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The workouts are always scalable, so no matter where you’re starting, there’s something for you! I’ve become a regular at the women’s strength class, which I absolutely love (shout out Coach Geoff!) and I also really enjoy the CrossFit classes and the Olympic lifting class on Sundays. One of the main reasons I chose CrossFit 7x7 was because of the variety of classes!! If you’re on the fence, nervous, or feel “out of shape,” this is your sign to join!!

I dropped into CrossFit 7x7 while visiting San Francisco, and I couldn’t recommend it more. The staff and members were super welcoming, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The facility is top-notch, with all the equipment needed for a solid workout, and the coaches are great at pushing you to get the most out of your session. If you're in the area, definitely check it out—amazing vibes and a great workout! I'll be back next time I'm in town.
