reviewsWhat Members Say
Members praise instructors like Mahita for creating welcoming, motivating classes that effectively blend strength and flow in heated environments. However, multiple reviews cite serious concerns about overcrowded classes where mats are placed too closely together, unpleasant odors in yoga rooms often described as sewage-like or due to poor airflow, and safety issues including a light fixture explosion during class. Consistency problems with studio policies, such as locking out late arrivals despite parking challenges, and maintenance issues like dirty bathrooms and overdue light replacements are frequently mentioned. While some appreciate the challenging workouts, many suggest other studios might offer better value with more comfortable conditions.

I took a Hot Yoga Sculpt class with Mahita and absolutely loved it! She was super welcoming and made me feel comfortable right from the start. The class was challenging in the best way — a great mix of strength, sweat, and flow. Mahita’s energy and guidance really motivated me throughout. I’ll definitely be coming back! :)

Classes are great but the airflow really needs to be improved. At first I thought there was a sewage leak but after a fellow classmate kept opening and closing the door to air out the room it became obvious that it was an issue with flatulence. The room is kept so hot that whenever someone farts (which in a recent class was nonstop) the smell hangs around the room with no method of escape. This unfortunately is a recurring situation at this location as of late. Hoping the managers can help with the situation.

The staff/instructor was really nice but because of how many people were crammed into the room it was hard to move freely. I got kicked in the face when the person in front of me did three legged dog and then the rest of the class I spent worried that I was going to get kicked again or kick the person behind me. It was the most crowded class I’ve ever taken, I counted 48 people! Apparently other locations are not so bad, but if you’re not used to it I wouldn’t recommend. I took a pic just so you could see how close the mats were.

Yoga rooms smell bad and vibes are off. No joke, a light exploded during savasana and sparks reigned down on a student. Turns out the light fixture next to it had already been removed so this is a known issue and a teacher even stated that the lights are due for replacement…. Better get on to that CorePower Duboce…. Seems they dont take customer safety seriously There are so many more welcoming and nicer studios that are better value too. Bathrooms are dirty.

Would not recommend trying to go to this studio. The first time I attended I arrived 5 min early, but class started 7 min late, it smelled horrible in the room (potentially sewage?) and the back half of the class was so advanced not a single person except the instructor was doing the poses. The rest of us just sat there doing random stretches, which isn’t necessarily bad, but why did I pay $30 to sit in a stinky room and stretch by myself. The second time I attended, I arrived 2 min late because it was street sweeping and parking was difficult. Myself and two other attendees (one of which arrive on time at 7:30am) were all locked out of the studio. I understand no late arrivals but the studio should be consistent in this policy as to avoid disappointment and confusion. I was very frustrated.
