I attended the 8-day Happiness and Wellness retreat at the center and had a truly transformative experience. It’s difficult to put into words how much support and care I received during my time at the Bodhi Meditation Center. I would especially like to thank our teacher, Li, and the incredible volunteers, whose kindness, dedication, and presence made the retreat deeply meaningful and memorable. I would highly recommend the Bodhi Meditation Center to anyone dealing with physical or mental challenges, or to those simply interested in meditation and spirituality. Attending this retreat may very well be one of the best decisions you make.

Initially went in for some insight with an oracle reading with Li and energy cleansing/clearing/cleaning/healing session. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and I was encouraged to take do an 8 day happiness retreat. The people that came for the retreat and the volunteers were full of compassionate energy and genuine kindness that made me continue returning every day inspite of the pain I was experiencing from chronic injuries. I haven’t experienced too many communities that I felt an increasingly connection to every day. Lots of warm smiles and vulnerable discussions in a safe and open space. I feel relief from violent dreams and nightmares, I am getting an increase in the hours of my sleep nightly with less waking up throughout the night and early morning hours, more peaceful and rested sleep with less pain. My mind was clearer allowing me to meditate and have calmness in my mind which is carrying over into my day and life. Before I felt like my mind was constantly going from rewind to fast forward at warp speed but I am regarding peace and quietness and can be in the moment of enjoyment of meditation again. I feel more peaceful in my mind and I am so grateful for these changes in such a short amount of time. I am looking forward to getting into a routine at home practicing the GI and bone melting meditation. Thank you to the participants and thank you to the volunteers and cooks! I had an incredible experience at the 8-day Health and Happiness Meditation Retreat at Bodhi Meditation. The teacher and assistants were deeply knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire program. And the homemade Chinese food for lunch everyday was a big highlight! I arrived feeling scattered, stressed, and disconnected from any consistent meditation practice. By the end of the retreat, I felt refreshed, centered, and energized in a way I hadn’t experienced in a long time. The structure and care of the program made a real difference. I’m deeply grateful to Li, Linda, Lilian, and the entire Bodhi community for creating such a compassionate, grounding environment and for helping me stay present throughout the experience. I highly recommend Bodhi Meditation to anyone seeking a meaningful, restorative way to engage more fully with themselves and the world.

After coming to the center, I truly felt how caring and supportive the teachers and volunteers are. The practices in class helped my body and mind gradually relax, and each day I could feel my energy becoming more positive. I’m starting to feel stronger, more hopeful, and more uplifted. The environment here is warm and welcoming, and fellow students are very kind. I will continue joining the group practices to keep improving myself. I’m very grateful for the changes this place has brought to me.

I was completely new to meditation when I joined the 8-day Meditation Retreat, and I felt cared for every step of the way. The teachers, volunteers, and staff were incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely kind. Li and Linda led the retreat with a lot of heart and presence, and it made the experience feel safe and supportive. The food was awesome and clearly prepared with care, which really added to the overall experience. I’m very grateful for the retreat and thankful to Grand Master Jin Bodhi and everyone at the center.
