Incredible studio that I have been looking for for SO long!! Ill start by saying I started doing yoga (specifically baptiste) in 2011 and it completely changed my life. I did it almost every single day for 4 years while in college. In 2015 after I graduated I noticed that yoga classes just werent giving me the same joy/benefits they once did so I switched to other forms of exercise which was great at first. I would do yoga maybe once a week or once every two weeks. Then i noticed that bc I didnt find a studio that I loved that my body was paying for it. I wasnt stretching in the same way I did in yoga and then I stopped stretching entirely. I had chronic back pain and kept throwing my back out, despite being overall very fit and active. Fast forward to a few months ago when I threw my back out again and noticed really bad hip flexor shooting pain. I decided to finally pay attention. Went to PT, got very painful myofascial release massages, did acupuncture and signed up for Baptiste. Truly the only thing that has made me feel better are these baptiste classes. Not only that, but I feel the same joy i did when i first started taking classes over a decade ago. Classes at baptiste are the way yoga SHOULD be everywhere!! You gain so much when the sequences are more or less the same because you tune into your body and feel what is better and what needs more attention. I love that the teachers actually are tuned into communicating poses so that they align with breath. So many teachers these days tell us to breathe but dont realize their pace is too quick for what should be a ‘moving mediation’- so slow full breath. I love that most of the classes also dont have music which i find is such a distraction. Love the 90 minute and 75 minute classes on the weekend too bc it doesnt feel rushed and you can focus on other stretches with a completely warmed up body. These classes are tough but SO rewarding. I know when my back and body is feeling stiff that the best thing I can do for myself is get me to one of these classes. So grateful for this studio and everyone that works here. Ive fallen in love with yoga all over again.

The sound bath at Baptiste was one of the most beautiful and transformative experiences of my life. As the waves of sound moved through me, I felt layers of stress and old energy gently lift away, leaving only peace and lightness. It was as if I was floating beyond time, held by something greater than myself — calm, safe, and completely free. Blair and Annie created a space that felt sacred and deeply nurturing. Their energy, intention, and care could be felt in every moment. I’m so grateful to them both for guiding such a profound journey — one that I will carry in my heart for a long time. Thank you, Blair and Annie, for this incredible gift.

Best yoga studio in the area. The teachers and owners are so passionate and friendly about all things yoga, as well as just getting to know me as a person, without talking about yoga. The classes are challenging, and in the best way. There is something different happening in this studio from others I’ve been to. I can’t even put my finger on it. It’s an experience, to say the least. I’d highly recommend anyone to check this place out, to see for yourself the experience I’m speaking to.

I'm thankful to have found this studio. While it is tucked away in the Presidio, parking is easy and it makes for a serene retrieve. The class is surprisingly engaging considering there is no music. I love that classes start with OM's - the Baptiste community is strong and vibrates through every class. The flow focuses mostly on strength and pose accuracy. Very enjoyable, a staple in my routine. One thing I'm most grateful for is that I've been able to leave my pup in the lobby in a carrier during class. Thank you so much!!
