24 Hour Fitness

Arlana and Dami were very helpful and sweet when it comes to the environment of 24 Hour Fitness at Ocean. They greet every one with a smile and encourage community to make 24 Hour Fitness feel like a safe and including space. Along with their niceness, they even offered to give my family/friends referral discounts! Overall, the gym is spacious and the staff are friendly— thanks to Lana and Dami :)

Most disgusting building ive ever entered. It is extremely dirty. Always broken equipment that does not get fixed for months. Theres a basketball court, but theres a massive hole in the court that hasn’t been fixed for over a month. The 2-lane pool is almost never available for members to use because the British Swim School takes the pool most of the time and gym members are not allowed to use it. The gym is always packed with people, but somehow whoever runs the place can’t manage to pay for new equipment or basic sanitation. Either the equipment is out of order or if it works its covered in dirt and filth. The women’s bathroom stalls often dont have toilet paper. The place is just a dump.

This gym offers no security whatsoever. They've tried to open my padlock several times. When this person is on the night shift, they spend all their time outside smoking or playing basketball, even though it should be closed after 11 pm. They leave the front desk completely unattended, letting anyone in. They don't change the paper or supplies because they're busy doing everything but working.

So Saturday morning I walk in seeking information about the gym access there I was greeted bye a very nice young lady with a light red hair. I informed her that I just moved here and I was looking to get back in the gym. She said let me give you a tour because we ant to get signed up. After the the tour she said they we can offer you free three day pass I said really this seems to be a great gym with great atmosphere told I’ll be back Sunday but I couldn’t make it so I went in today. Now today oh boy I come in same energy excited to work out on the three day pass I approach the counter so I say Gm to guy at the counter he never said says anything back so then I went on to explain hey I’m came in looking to use my three day pass first throng said after that was your only allowed I every 6 months. I said okay then he just keep looking at me and I’m looking at him and the repeat I’m looking to use my three days pass ect he said huh say it again so then I give him the own spill for last week I come in ect ect now at this point I’m feeling like this guy is being rude to me or something because I have explained my self 3 times I’m not being rude at saying anything you know out the way or nothing I’m just trying to use my pass so then he’s like okay well you got your id with sf address on it I say no I just moved here maybe two weeks ago not yet. You got a sf or something with mail saying your from this area. Now if that is the policy I get I left and set up a appointment today from tomorrow for id because I never want feel like that again spoken to like that again as he talk to me as if I was a homeless man off the street or something needless to say he was so rude. I thought from the out with the young lady and atmosphere and employees that this was a nice place to work out at sadly I was very wrong 24 hour fitness I know it’s hard on worker but you can do better then tat young men. He has slightly bit of a droopy eye shorter fella. Man just rude I men for no reason I wanted to speak with manger or someone else to express this is not the way to earn peoples business I work hard for my money and to give it away to a place that doesn’t value you no way. I wish there was someone else to speak with I so embarrassed the ride back home so not the experience I was looking for leaving there.

Bro they literally have a bucket catching water from a moldy pipe on the ceiling. Basketball court flooring has been damaged for years, locker room floor is always wet and bathrooms are always dirty. The cable fly machine has been broken since December too. Save your money and go somewhere else.
