Best gym in the whole world! Coolest people ever—such an amazing community. Everyone is so supportive, and I’m always inspired by the people here. Not to mention the coaching from Wes! I love getting immediate feedback on my lifts and appreciate all the helpful cues. He might look intimidating, but he’s actually a sweet teddy bear. The programming is also excellent—I feel so much stronger since joining West Coast. I haven’t even been a member for a year, but I can already tell you: I’m never leaving! West Coast Weightlifting has my heart!

This gym has plenty of high quality bars and bumper plates for weightlifting. Lot of room to perform lifts. 10 different squat racks and 15 different leg machines. Two set of dumbbells and all sort of accessories from jerk blocks to Safety Squat Bars. They have a fundamentals class and coaches with 15+ years of weightlifting experience. Great for the average gym goer looking for a 24/7 facility or a high school to elite athlete. Lots of powerlifting and strongman equipment too. Recovery room looks nice as well might sign up for that to use the sauna and ice bath. Great private and clean gym with very kind and involved members.

You can get strong and live an active life anywhere. What’s special about WCW? The community and the coaching. I started going here in high school and throughout the years I have made life long friends I would have never met anywhere else. Because of the close knit community we’ve built, the support could not be more genuine. The way they cheer you on, offer pointers, and make you feel like you can even if you don’t quite believe it yourself is something I have never experienced at another gym. When I moved away to college and transitioned to remote coaching, I never felt like I was slipping through the cracks of not being able to train at the facility. The standard of coaching was the same regardless of modality. Wes takes the time to know his team and tailors ques, pep talks, and how to approach training based on what works for that individual. This gym has equipment for everyone, no matter your fitness goals, West Coast Weightlifting will be the place to help you reach them!

The coaching here is world-class, and the community is like no other. From day one, I’ve felt seen, supported, and pushed to become the strongest version of myself—not just physically, but mentally too. Every lift, every setback, every PR—I’ve had coaches and teammates beside me, believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Westcoast has completely transformed my lifting journey. The technical guidance, the encouragement, and the energy in that room have taken me to a level I never thought possible. This isn’t just where I train—it’s where I grow. I’m endlessly grateful for this space and the people in it. I don’t plan on ever leaving—because when you find something this good, this life-changing, you hold on tight
