We hosted our son’s birthday party at The Plunge indoor pool, and it was such a fantastic experience! Everything was well organized, clean, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The kids had an absolute blast with the inflatable water course — they didn’t want to get out of the pool! It was the perfect mix of fun and safe entertainment. Meanwhile, the adults really enjoyed swimming laps in the lanes and relaxing in the sauna. It was wonderful that everyone — both kids and parents — had something to enjoy. The atmosphere was energetic yet comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the event. It turned out to be a truly memorable birthday celebration. Highly recommend for parties or family gatherings!

So, here it is: I had a fantastic experience at the public indoor pool located inside Belmont Park. The kids absolutely love the water obstacle course—it’s a big hit, especially for birthday parties, since it’s super popular. The pool itself is really nice, and the location is great—you’re right in the middle of the park, so parents can stroll around or enjoy other attractions. The only downside is that parking can get really tricky, especially on busy days. And sometimes, the crowd can be a little odd—just a heads up. But overall, it’s a great spot for family fun!

We absolutely love The Plunge San Diego! The facility is stunning—immaculately clean with a heated pool that’s cleverly divided between a fun obstacle course and a lap pool. The restrooms and lockers are spotless, the heated towels are a great touch, and there’s even a comfortable lounge area where parents can relax and watch their kids during lessons. Our experience with the instructors has been nothing short of amazing. Ian, our Level 1 instructor, was incredibly patient, kind, and clearly has a genuine love for working with kids. My two high-energy boys connected with him right away and made impressive progress—moving up to Level 2 in just four sessions! We’re now in the accelerated Level 2 program with Jeiny, and she’s been equally fantastic. Her calm but firm teaching style is exactly what my rambunctious boys need, and she balances structure with encouragement so well. I can’t recommend swim lessons at The Plunge enough—it’s been a wonderful experience for both me and my kids!

This is a small place, but my kids and husband had the BEST time here! So nice, we visited twice on our recent vacation to San Diego. Wasn't too packed either time which was also nice! A bit pricy, but worth it. ($65 for 4 swimmers and 1 spectator for 2 hours). Staff was very nice both times! Great time had by all!

Family went to the Plunge during the day when it was pretty quiet. Beautiful building and even better atmosphere. Guy who checked us in (missed his name, but had awesome finger nail designs) was accommodating and so nice to our kids. Explained everything and had patience with them. Then my daughter decided to take the swim test to go without a life jacket, and Will was incredibly nice and sweet to her after she had a hard time getting started. He pep talked her up and was more than patient with her. Both employees were amazing and way better with my kids (and family) than I could ever imagine. Overall a great experience and my kids loved the obstacle course!
