Chances are if you reading this, you are looking for a place to help you get stronger and fitter- this was exactly where I was at the end of last year after I was 3 months post partum and looking for a place to help me become stronger physically (which I knew would also help me mentally as I dealt with PPA/PPD). I’ve done various classes before (yoga, Pilates, Barry’s bootcamp, etc), but I really wanted something tailored to my body after being post partum. Johnny and his business at Real Time Strength has completely surpassed my expectations. This is the first time where I am getting a structured plan to help me build muscle and strength in specific areas that I wanted to work on and I have seen so much progress and results in just the last 4 weeks! His exercises that are specifically tailored to each individual have helped me get stronger so quickly without causing me to overstrain or feel too extremely sore days after. Johnny is very friendly but professional, knowledgeable about various exercises, and extremely communicative and flexible which has been crucial in allowing me to exercise with my 6 month old as a first time mom. I’ve been here for a month and have seen so much progress already. I’ve always been intimidated to work with trainer but it is probably one of the best health decisions I’ve ever made for myself. If you are even on the fence about starting training, I highly recommend you come to this place and see if it would be a great fit (it will be!). There’s so many options in terms of when to come in, how frequently, if you want a small group or individual setting- you can’t really go wrong here! I’m excited to see how much progress I can make in the next few months and am so happy that I already feel a physical improvement.

Johnny’s team is amazing! I joined the 21-Day challenge and saw amazing results! The exercises are all custom for your body and Johnny is great at offering modifications when needed. The sessions are very well planned, and Johnny and team are very kind, knowledgeable, generous and super professional. I recommend this gym 100%.

I joined the 21-day challenge at Real-Time Strength, and Johnny is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. I had been training on my own at a gym for a year, mostly using machines. But here, I learned more compound movements instead of just isolating single muscle groups. It makes my workouts much more engaging and dynamic. I’ve watched many workout videos before and compared them to what I learned at my previous gym and here. Johnny helped me understand the differences. He always says that every workout method can be useful — what truly matters is your goal. I’ve learned so much in a positive and enjoyable way. I’m no longer anxious about not gaining muscle fast enough. Now I train for fun, and consistency has become my key focus. Muscle growth is simply a byproduct that follows.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2024, I went through surgery, chemotherapy, and now ongoing maintenance medications. By the end of active treatment, I knew I needed to completely overhaul my nutritional and physical habits. At first, I was nervous, given my medical history and my previously sedentary lifestyle, I wasn’t sure if strength training was something I’d even be capable of. But Johnny’s guidance helped me move past those doubts, and both Johnny and Alex have created an encouraging, welcoming environment for every level of fitness and nutrition. Since working with them, I’ve already seen meaningful changes both inside and out: improved mobility, weight management, and even better results in my most recent lab work compared to before I started. After having consistently high liver enzymes for almost a year I have finally gotten my levels down to a normal range, thanks in part to RTS! Working with Real-Time Strength has truly been one of the best investments I’ve ever made in myself. And even-though I am still at the beginning of my journey, I couldn’t recommend Johnny, Alex, and their program more highly.
