I chose Planet Fitness- Black Mountain after doing free trials of several other gyms in the area. This location is new, their equipment is all new, so no worries about sanitary conditions. I found the staff to be very engaging and friendly. Parking is wonderful and they have everything I need to get a great workout. I found the pricing to be very reasonable and opted for their Black Card membership for the additional amenities. This particular location offered tanning booths, red light therapy and various massage chairs, including hydro therapy massage chairs. All in all it’s been great! I highly recommend!

Couldn't wait until gym opened! I switched over from a nearby gym that had dirty bathrooms, old equipment and dark atmosphere with poor ventilation. The morning staff at PF, notably Angeleena is consistently welcoming, helpful and friendly :) and can be seen wiping down and dusting equipment as needed. This gym is never too crowded and there is more than enough cleaning supplies on hand. The gym members take the time to wipe down the equipment before/after use. I thoroughly enjoy my workouts here!

I never knew a gym could be so good. Super clean, doesn't smell, nice and cool - the ceilings are super high - it makes a huge difference with the temperature and just feels spacious -- and it is! Equipment is very well laid out - roomy, you never really face someone else working out, and if something is occupied you can usually find it somewhere else - several dumbbell niches to choose from, for example. Locker room is nice, I don't use it much tho and others likewise seem to just be in and out for a workout, so it never seems crowded at all. I do use the Black Card spa stuff and it's great. What a treat. I really look forward to it when I have the time. Being newly opened, I feel like everyone is invested in keeping the place nice - wiping down equipment, etc. It's a really good vibe. I switched from another neighborhood gym and it's truly a night-and-day difference. I go so much more and feel empowered to do more stuff. No classes here, which I thought was a bummer at first, but I'm finding I go more when it's on my own time and not a set schedule. Oh, and the parking is great! Angle-in spots instead of small straight ones. I never realized how much of a difference that makes but whatever makes the experience easy and nice just means I go that much more. Really grateful PF opened here. I love this gym.

I am very grateful for this Gym opening up! They have a lot of very useful equipment and mostly everyone that goes there is kind and friendly. I go in the mornings before work and their opener Angeleena is very friendly. She greets me with a smile every time I go. I notice that she is like that with everyone which is super cool to see. I also see that the place is always super clean and I notice that when Angeleena is not working the front desk she is out cleaning the place keeping it nice and tidy.

My favorite planet fitness location. Always clean and has my favorite equipment and great black card perks. Shoutout to the amazing staff here: Samantha - for finding my keys that I lost and gave it back while I was relaxing in the hydro bed Harmony - for always greeting me with a smile and being really nice always even though I’m really awkward Karla - for finding my clothes I left in the locker room because I left them before going out of town for the weekend and keeping it in the back for me for 3 days no questions asked
