We brought our coaching team to East County CrossFit to learn the fundamentals of weightlifting and proper mechanics, and it was an excellent experience. Paul was incredibly thorough in teaching the key lifts and made the session both educational and fun. It was a great opportunity for our team to learn from someone with such deep knowledge and passion for strength and conditioning. CrossFit East County is just simply the best! I started coming to this gym about 2.5 years ago, with no previous CrossFit experience, and have never felt more comfortable and welcomed than in any other facility like this one before. Paul, Tina, and the other coaches are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fitness, and I have personally learned and gained so much from them. I have nothing but positive things to say about the gyms programming, members, and atmosphere! If you like fitness and want to try something fun and challenging, I'd highly recommend coming to CrossFit East County!

I cannot rave enough about East County Crossfit! I started coming here when I moved to San Diego in 2023. Although there are many great coaches at East County, I have spent the most time with Coach Paul and Coach Erica. Both are fabulous coaches that are focused on preventing injury and helping you become strong and more athletic. I used to think that Crossfit was too intense for me or that I would bulk up. Spoiler alert, it is actually somewhat difficult to build muscle and found that instead of becoming bulky, I have become more lean and fit. And so much stronger! East County offers 3 different options at each workout, level 1, level 2 and an alternate option (like weight vest Wednesday), plus a fun partner workout on Fridays. Any one of any fitness level is able to join with the help of these fabulous coaches. My favorite part about East County is that it gave me a community when moving to a new city. I actually look forward to my 5:15am workout class! Okay, I also really appreciate the focus on longevity and preparing our bodies to be healthy as we age. I highly recommend this gym!

CrossFit East County is a gym you’ll look forward to going to, the people who workout with you are so supportive and friendly and the workouts are challenging. All fitness levels are welcome, Paul makes sure to tailor the workouts to your ability and comfort level and really will pay attention to your form to make sure you do everything safely. Highly recommend coming in for your free week so you can see for yourself!
