Joined as a beginner and after trying most of the classes, I love going to all* of the Honey classes! Each teacher and class has been so helpful and encouraging. Having different options (sculpt, slow, restore, etc.) of classes available after work, the membership perks, and support from the staff makes it well worth going.

About six months after moving to San Diego, an acquaintance suggested I try Honey Yoga for exercise and to meet people. I attended a restore class. Michaela was my first instructor and I loved her calm, non judgmental energy . I looked around the class and saw a diversity in races, age, and body type. It was the first time I’d been to a yoga studio and didn’t self conscious about my body or my ability to do poses. After signing up for the 3-week special I tried a variety of classes. It’s been over year now, and while I’ve tried almost even course they offer, I’ve found my favorites (restore with Michaela, slow flow with Jordi, and high-lo with Kaia) all of the classes have been lovely. Jen’s sound bath class is a must-do-experience. Her voice is beautiful! The staff, led by Ashley (who has the best pose movement count down voice) are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve settled into my routine and love the monthly challenges. I am so happy to have a home away from home.

Honey Yoga has been a wonderful support during my pregnancy. The teachers are exceptionally skilled, patient, and attentive, always offering safe modifications and guidance that help me feel confident in my practice. Each class leaves me feeling calmer, stronger, and more connected to my body. It’s been an incredibly positive part of my prenatal journey.

Love Honey! Everyone here - instructors, staff and members - are wonderful. When I attended my first class, I had an immediate sense of belonging. I can confidently say after several months that still applies. Regardless of how I walk into class, I always leave class feeling better. If you are looking for a community focused studio, Honey is for you.

I recently started getting back into yoga after a few years off with a knee injury. Decided to try Honey Yoga and felt amazing after taking my first class with them. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and I love the diverse mix of people taking the classes. Each instructor has their own style and have all been very supportive and encouraging. I appreciate their effort in trying to remember my name, it really adds to that personalized feeling of community. I was initially worried about parking since it’s all street parking, but I honestly haven’t had any trouble finding a decent spot each time. I’ve been looking for a studio to replace my old spot that had unfortunately closed down a few years ago. And this one took me right back to how I used to feel before my injury. Needless to say, I signed up for a membership right away and I’m so glad I discovered this studio! I feel excited to keep deepening my practice and continue to show up for myself.
