Crunch Fitness - Serra Mesa

I’ve been going to Crunch Serra Mesa for about three years now. It’s a great gym. It doesn’t get over crowded. Good vibes and friendly staff. It’s not a big market gym if that is what you’re looking for but there’s plenty to help you keep up with your fitness goals.

Ive been a member of this gym for over a year and it was the best decision! Not only is this a very clean facility, but the staff make it over the top and a welcoming environment. I feel the members here really care for keeping it safe and clean. Highly recommend this gem. Well done, Serra Mesa staff!

I have been going to this gym for several years, very comfy. They maintain the place well and it is not overly crowded later at night. It's not a huge gym but it has almost everything you would need. Would like to give big thanks to CJ who quickly helped clean up an accidental water spill the other night. He worked quickly to get it mopped up and was very nice about the whole situation.

Came for an early 7 am workout! I was greeted upon entry and when asked where locker rooms where I was point in the right direction as I’m from out of town and this is my first visit! Extremely clean and all the equipment was in functional order! Smaller than I’m used too from a crunch however it works and meets all needs for any beginner to cross fit elite trainers. Extremely happy that the locker rooms are clean and in working order as well!!! They provide soap in the showers and there is HOT water!!!! Definitely worth the 15 min drive from Fiesta Island to workout!

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to unclear and poorly communicated fees. I was charged a fee that was never disclosed to me at the time of sign-up, and I was later required to pay it anyway. I try not to write poor reviews online, but I want to help others be aware of this poor communication before signing up. When I questioned the charge, the billing process became drawn out and very confusing. Communication with the manager was slow, and I had to call the office in order to get a response after waiting several business days. I was also charged an extra fee after I had already canceled my membership, and I am still waiting for a refund to appear on my account after almost 2 months. This is extremely unprofessional. Clearer transparency around fees and more professional, timely communication would greatly improve the experience here.
