I started working with Pedro after not exercising for years, and he made the process feel manageable from day one. He took the time to assess where I was physically and built a program around my actual ability rather than pushing me into a one-size-fits-all routine. As I progressed, Pedro adapted my workouts to match my body and limitations. Beyond the sessions, he checked in throughout the week to see how I was feeling, answer questions, and make sure I was doing okay. He developed routines that would push me where I was making gains and ease up where we needed to slow down. Pedro made getting back into fitness something I actually looked forward to. On top of all that – he's just a good guy and makes the workouts fun in person. If you're looking for a trainer who genuinely meets you where you are and truly cares, I highly recommend Pedro.

Pedro had been working with my son, Austin (11), for over a year, and we couldn’t have been happier with the impact he had. Austin played both flag football and tennis, and Pedro did an outstanding job preparing him to compete at a high level in both sports. Pedro focused on building a strong foundation through proper technique, movement patterns, and athletic education, ensuring Austin learned how to train safely and correctly from a young age. He always emphasized progress over perfection, which was incredibly motivating and confidence-building. Pedro’s positive attitude, deep knowledge of sports science—especially the latest research in youth athletic development—and his ability to explain things in a way kids understood helped Austin become a healthier, stronger, and happier athlete. Most importantly, Pedro has a fantastic demeanor with kids: they genuinely like him, respect him, and listen to him. Even though we've moved away from San Diego, Pedro went out of his way to research other options to support Austin's continued athletic development. He's a great person and an exceptional trainer. Highly recommend!

Pedro is such a great personal trainer! He sets a program that is right for your level and goals. He pushes you just the right amount. I had many previous and new injuries to work around and he was always very accommodating and quick to switch things up if need be. I saw Pedro for 1 year and only left because I moved away. He helped me gain strength, mobility, and confidence. He also has a great personality and fun to talk to during the session. 10/10

I’ve been seeing Rachel (Ziner) for the last few months, and I can honestly say my life has changed because of her care. She is an exceptional physical therapist with a rare combination of deep technical knowledge and an intuitive understanding of how the human body truly works. What really sets her apart is how well she understands performance—not just rehab—especially for athletes. She doesn’t treat symptoms in isolation; she looks at how everything connects and how your body needs to function to perform at a high level. When I first started, I had persistent shoulder pain that was limiting both daily life and my tennis. Under her guidance, my shoulder pain has reduced remarkably, my strength has grown significantly, and I feel more stable and confident in my movements. I’d heard that people specifically come to Catalyst Performance asking for her, and now I completely understand why. She is thoughtful, precise, and deeply invested in her patients’ progress. I’m incredibly grateful for her care and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone—especially athletes looking to not just heal, but truly improve their performance.

Pedro is the best. I've been working with him for a year and the results have been so satisfying. He helped me define my goals and my "plan" was adjusted according to me. His encouragement and dedication has been invaluable. I've been working thru injuries forever. With Pedro's help, we have managed to hit my goals and remain pain free. I am so grateful for him.
