reviewsWhat Members Say

Members consistently praise the knowledgeable and patient instructors, with specific mentions of Galina, Annie, Dana, Marguerite, and Andrew Nayfack for their positive energy and ability to make workouts enjoyable. Many report that Pilates has become a sustainable habit that improves strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing, with some attending 2-4 times weekly. The studio is described as welcoming to people of all ages and genders, with reasonable pricing and beautiful, well-equipped facilities. One negative review mentioned a class cancellation with late notification and concern about too many beds limiting individual attention, but this appears to be an isolated experience among overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The best Pilates instructors I’ve ever had! I have been going to the State & G location 2-3x a week since July and absolutely love it! I took my first class and knew I needed to sign up for a membership (which are very reasonably priced). There’s people of all ages and genders in every class which is great because you never have to feel intimidated. My favorite instructors are Annie, Dana, Galina, and Marguerite!

Two classes with Andrew today and I’m glowing! 💦✨ I sweated, I laughed, I had a blast. Andrew is hands down the best way to start or end your day ~ his positive energy is contagious and I always leave stronger, happier, and so proud of myself. Looking back, I’m beyond grateful I started this journey months ago. Working out has finally become a habit that stuck, and it’s all thanks to Andrew. Somehow, he makes me want to show up, push myself, and become the best version of me. If you’ve been on the fence, don’t wait ~ just take a class. Life’s too short not to feel this good. 💛 @19mostdope Andrew Nayfack - check him out on insta!

Pilates has become a way of life! Love the studio at State and G. It makes everything —your body, your mind and your mood better. I try to go at least 4 times a week—especially with Galina. Her workouts are fantastic. But more importantly, she’s kind, compassionate and makes everyone in her class feel special and important. She modifies instruction for her students’ needs. She is amazing. I’m so happy that she has become an important part of my life.❤️❤️❤️

This Pilates studio on the corner of G and State streets is such a fantastic addition to the downtown fitness scene. I had never done Pilates reformer classes before and Galena and Annie have both been incredibly patient and knowledgeable instructors. Now I’m going 2-3 times a week and, after two months, feel so much stronger and more flexible. The studio is beautiful- bright and airy with all new equipment. I highly recommend.

I was looking forward to attending my first Pilates class and even brought my mother along so we could experience it together. We arrived 15 minutes early (actually 30 minutes earlier), as advised, and paid for parking. Unfortunately, we were not informed until 10:00 AM—the class's scheduled start time—that it had been canceled. The message indicated that a replacement instructor was being sought, but in situations like this, I believe clients should be notified at least 30 minutes in advance if a class cannot proceed as scheduled, especially if a substitute hasn’t been secured. Additionally, we waited outside in the cold for 15 minutes, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. This experience felt dismissive of our time and the money we invested. Lastly, I noticed the studio had a high number of beds, which may make it difficult for instructors to provide adequate attention and guidance to each participant. Regrettably, based on this experience, we will not be returning to Beyond Pilates.
