24 Hour Fitness

The remodel looks great 👍🏻 I like to come in to this location on Sundays, this is a nice brand new equipment, looks cleaner and more durable than the previous model, maybe you guys need to add the 45lb plates to the barbels like the other locations 🤞🏼, but other than that I’m happy with the new remodeled 24HF 🫶🏼 bathroom are better and cleaner too!! Now I am considering to set this as my go to location, good job!!!

In all my years and experience of 24 hour fitness, I have never come across one whose bathrooms are in worse standings than this one. There are brown stains on the wall and mold, literal mold on the metal frame and on the wall itself. I was mortified when I went in here in attempt to take a shower. I had to turn back around leave and go to another location in order to gear up for work. The workout area itself is in good shape and the equipments are fairly new. I wish I never went in the bathroom.

I recently visited 24 Hour Fitness, and while the equipment itself is solid and up to date, the overall experience was disappointing. The cleanliness of the gym was far below expectations, bathrooms were dirty, poorly maintained, and honestly looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. On top of that, the prices are pretty high for what you actually get. With the lack of cleanliness and the general upkeep issues, I don’t feel the membership is worth the cost. There are better options out there for the same or even lower price. Overall, I wouldn’t pay for a membership here. The equipment may be good, but the environment and cleanliness make it hard to recommend.

Potential theft College Grove. Do not trust 24 hour fitness staff. My friend recently worked out and she left her beats headphones. She immediately called the store and spoke with Devon. Devon recovered them and let her know they would be at the front desk for her. Every time she attempted to recover her headphones. Taylor ( so called manager) gave her excuses. From i don’t know the password to access the safe to yelling at her for asking for her property. That’s when i got involved. It pains me to see people try to take advance of others. Let’s just say Taylor and i had a conversation. I escalated my claim, filed a report and 24 fitness and was informed the manger would contact me within 72 hours. Crickets it’s been a week. When i call the store Taylor screens my calls and won’t get back to me. Someone on the 24 hour staff stole my friend’s headphones. Take my advice do not go to this gym or trust their staff. Worse than that it appears Taylor does not have a supervisor and is allowed to operate accordingly. I’ve been a member for over 30 years and I’m appalled at their behavior and especially their hostility towards women. When i questioned him about that he threatened to throw me out of the club. It’s still ongoing, considering getting the news down there and trying to get my friend to file a police report. If you lose something there DO NOT CALL THE STAFF. That guarantees you never get your property back. When i asked you o file a complaint in the store i was denied. When i asked for camera data i was told it’s unavailable. The manger lied to me. He is supposed to make that available upon request I will be posting more as we get updates. UPDATE : Called 24 Hour and Taylor is screening calls and won’t call back. Certainly very disappointed. DO NOT TRUST THE STAFF!

Its gross. Very clearly not maintained at normal intervals. Men's locker room is full of ants, human hair, razor heads, empty water bottles, and discarded socks. I usually go to the PQ or Linda Vista locations which are nothing like this. Attached was the sight I saw when I entered the ADA stall, not including the dripping handle. Oh, and I didn't think I needed to check and ensure the ADA shower stall was working - when I got to the showers I found that the ambulatory "regular" shower head was working but the accessible shower head was not turning on when the mode was switched. Overall I wouldn't recommend this location of 24. They're very obviously neglecting the facility and eventually someone's going to get sick or injured and they'll close like Balboa did. Disappointing and disgusting. Edit: I have contacted corporate. I went ahead and tried the location again as I wanted to end my night with a workout and a shower without driving out of my way. There may not have been razor blades on the ground this time, and the ADA shower at least has a curtain now, but the bathrooms are in shambles and the ONE employee I saw for the entire gym said all he could do was make a report to the janitor that would be "coming in later". New photos have been added to the others in this review. Edit: No response from corporate. Tried the club one more time only to see worse conditions and leave. I have now contacted corporate again and added updated photos from 1/19/2025 to my review, primarily of the black mold in the men's ADA shower stall. Edit 2/12/2026: After contacting management, corporate, and the health department I decided to take a look at the location again. Things are cleaner and it looks like they're taking things more seriously. Men's locker room is fine, showers are still meh BUT the mold is maybe 1% of the disgusting insanity it was prior. Be wary of this location overall.
