Specific praise focuses on Alan's ability to create customized training programs, including for medical recovery situations, and his kind, knowledgeable approach. Fantastic gym. Great facilities, everything you could want in a gym for any kind of strength and conditioning training. Amazing community. Scary metal music on the speakers, but friendly people with smiles on their faces (except if they're in the middle of squatting 500lbs). The owner Alan is extremely kind, supportive, and knowledgeable, definitely would recommend hitting him up for personal training as well. Great gym - you won't regret signing up.

Been coming here for about 2 years now.. It's been a wonderful atmosphere and it's a very clean place. Not knocking the price but sometimes it can be hard to justify, but you get what you pay for so I'm happy to be able to be apart of it! The added perks for membership make sense too anyways, and is up to you to utilize what's offered. There needs to be more gyms like this! Commercial gyms have tainted the atmosphere and can be intimidating for new lifters or new to the area. Love this place though overall ❤️

This is a WONDERFUL gym and I wish I lived in the area to train there all the time. I make a point of visiting whenever I'm in town. Alan is also a phenomenal coach and resource. I've taken advantage of his offerings for individual training as well as for helping me write a suitable lifting program. More specifically, I recently needed a custom-made program to help me navigate a series of medical procedures that both weakened me and limited what I was allowed to do to during recovery. Alan crafted a perfect-fit program of body-weight and light-weight sets to allow me to regain strength & mobility without compromising my physical rehabilitation. As I went in to a follow up procedure this week, I was incredibly mobile, comfortable, and capable. This helped me avoid further complications and helped speed up my continued recovery. Whether you live near or far, I couldn't more strongly recommend connecting with this gym in some meaningful way.

Just attended a Barbell Medicine seminar this past weekend at this gym. This is Alan Thrall’s gym, who I’ve watched his fun/educational videos on YouTube for years. The place is beyond expectations. If I lived anywhere close to Sacramento, it would be awesome to train here. Alan and his crew are super nice and hard to imagine getting better coaching anywhere. I’ve never done strongman stuff, but the amount of equipment they have for it is unreal and would love to try it. I’ve been to powerlifting gyms around the country and this one is really special. Sac folks are super lucky to have Alan and this gym in town! 👍🏼💪🏼

Let me start off by saying it's an incredible gym with the amount of equipment it has.In four regular members get the access of twenty four hours is amazing , but some of the gym regulars i don't understand with the tripods in filming themselves. Maybe if they're competing, and they wanna get stronger and better, I don't know the owner himself, I met him talk to him for maybe 2 minutes. He seems like down-to-earth, but a very busy person. It's an incredible gym to get your lifts up if you're a powerlifter, strongman, and even bodybuilding.\n I would give this a 5 stars, but so far, I've only went to one gym that was worthy of 5 stars in my opinion.
