The gym operates with a welcoming approach, where staff consistently greet members by name and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance. Update 2024 November: Still a member. Come 2 to 3 times a week. All staffs are still friendly, & greeted me by my last name. I lost a total of 26lbs since I started. Morning time are mostly dead until it hit 5am-6am. Afternoon to evening are pretty busy. Joined 4 months ago. They just updated most of their machines & took a lot of old machines out. My to-go place. All staffs are friendly.

Fun history fact: This location was used for a Fallout Shelter 5 Area I This used to be a F.W. Woolworth Co. (Not sure what that store is, similar to Ross?) I’ve entered this store as a kid, and I did not even know there was a shelter underneath my feet! It also includes the new Costco across the street, and the A&TT building on Watt and Marconi area. But for this gym, history wise fun! Planet fitness is always awesome. Recommend this place!

Most of the employees are wonderful, and Kerri in particular is amazing, always friendly and welcoming. She greets everyone with a smile and goes out of her way to be considerate. Her thoughtfulness and knowledge really stand out. She not only welcomes members with kindness but also provides valuable guidance that reflects her expertise. Whether it’s answering questions about equipment or offering thoughtful advice, she demonstrates a strong understanding of her work and a genuine commitment to helping others. The gym itself has recently upgraded its equipment, which makes the overall experience even better.

Just started coming here after moving from Fremont, CA, and so far I’m pleasantly surprised. The place is clean, organized, and doesn’t have that “mystery gym smell” some places develop over time (always appreciated 😄). Staff has been consistently friendly and helpful — which matters more than people think when you’re adjusting to a new neighborhood. The cardio machines are definitely on the older side compared to what I was used to, but most of them work just fine and get the job done. Not fancy, but functional. Only minor head-scratcher: I’ve only found one water refill station and it’s downstairs. If there’s a secret upstairs one hiding behind a pillar somewhere, I haven’t unlocked that level yet. If not, adding one upstairs would be a nice upgrade. Overall, solid experience. Clean, friendly, dependable — which is really what most of us want from a gym.

It was around 9-10 on a Sunday night and it was quite busy. If that's an off peak time, I definitely don't want to see it during peak or smell it. Smelled bad in there from too many sweaty people.
