I've been really impressed with the staff and grounds. Still a work in progress, but major progress being made most weeks. Still missing a cold plunge. Otherwise awesome equipment, staff specifically Ashley, Sydney, Brittney, Joe, really great professionalism from everyone, and the number of staff here is incredible. Really makes the club feel well taken care of.

My original review was taken down, but I’m back to share it again this time condensed. The other negative reviews speak for the experience you should expect. As previously mentioned, I had been a Life Time member visiting various locations and taking note of how those locations delivered consistent value with amenities, hours, and service. Folsom and Roseville, for example, feel more complete and polished. At Arden, my experiences had been mixed every visit. Positives for Life Time as a company include a great steam room and sauna in the locker rooms, reliable towel service, and staff who step in when needed. From my visits at Arden Hills, the facility still feels unfinished and I am not sure they will be ever be done. During my first, second, and third visits, I saw a bench in the locker room taped off as “Not Secure” but it has since been fixed. Amazing. Construction zones were present, and when group classes overlap the noise carries as friends of mine who take classes here have mentioned this continues to be an issue for them. Food prices still feel high for what’s offered, and at check-in I’ve personally experienced some less-than-welcoming interactions with staff. One choice I still don’t understand is why, with so much space available, this location didn’t include an indoor spa in the locker rooms. At other gyms with lower membership pricing levels those amenities make a big difference, and the absence here stands out. Membership pricing still feels out of step with what’s offered right now. Arden has shorter hours (5 a.m.–10 p.m. weekdays, 6 a.m.–9 p.m. weekends) compared to Folsom and Roseville (4 a.m.–midnight daily). While construction seems to be progressing, the overall experience still doesn’t match other Life Time clubs I’ve used. I still believe dues should reflect what’s actually available until the facility is fully ready, and the price should come down.

I have been a member since April 2024. The only reason we joined as a family was to enroll my daughters in the competitive swim team. The experience has been very underwhelming to say the least. Unfortunately, the least possible value for my money. I’m over a year and a half as a part of the swim team, the coaches have never introduced themselves to me, heck the main coach has never greeted me even once. I have never been aware of the team or individual objectives. I have never been informed or involved in the athletic development of my daughters. I have never met with the coach to discuss May dauthers progress. There is zero accountability from the coaching staff. We’re talking about $380 dlls a month for swimming fees alone (not including the $500 lifetime gym membership, that is $880/month). The whole experience resembles a money sucking operation. Despite this issue, the coaches demand team members to pay mileage and boarding for swim meets, even for local meets, this on top of the monthly fees. Now the gym part. Every single month we are overcharged and it is a monthly task to call the administrator to refund the overcharges. Most recently, called to speak with a contact person about billing issues and the concierge person told me I can’t speak with her. He was rude and dismissive. Later he finally said she is no longer working in her position. Something is very off in the leadership and billing department. Unfortunately, it is the only competitive swim team in my area. I do like the facilities otherwise, but there are very few amenities for the cost of the membership. In conclusion, the issues with the swim team and the lack of amenities make LifeTime at Arden Hills, the worst value for your money. That’s the reason of the one star, based only on value.

On November 2025, I stopped by this Lifetime location early in the morning. I’ve visited this gym dozens of times with zero issues, and I’ve always been a big fan of Lifetime in general. I paid for the top tier access for ALL the gyms across the United States. The experience is usually great, and the staff at most locations are welcoming. But this morning was different. When I checked in, I was immediately questioned by an employee who said she was the manager. She asked if I lived in the area and the way she asked it genuinely shocked me. Not only was her tone rude, but it also made no sense considering how often I’ve been at this location. When I asked her why she felt the need to question me like that, her answer shifted as she became very nervous as someone who is lying. As a former Detective with seven years in law enforcement and now a full-time entrepreneur who has managed over 200 employees, I can read people very well. The change in her tone was obvious once I challenged the question. She then told me that “not a lot of people have access” to this specific gym because it’s the highest-tier club in Lifetime. I’ve never once been asked this at any Lifetime location. She went as far as asking how long I was “in town,” at which point I shared that I have homes in California, Miami, and now Puerto Rico and walked away. No paying customer should ever be spoken to like that. To Lifetime corporate: Please train the managers and staff at this location to provide the same level of customer service that the Folsom location gives every day. Businesses serve their clients not the other way around. I have a large personal brand with millions of followers, and instead of broadcasting this situation publicly on my channels, I’m choosing to address it here so this location can improve. If corporate wants the name of the manager involved or more details, I am more than happy to speak. I’ve also heard from several associates in the area that this is the one Lifetime location where many people feel unwelcome because it used to be a high-end country club. That reputation is not good for the Lifetime brand, a brand I still love. But until things improve, I now drive an extra 20 minutes to the Folsom location, where the staff is truly A+.
