I can’t say enough good about Sandi Russi’s yoga instruction. I have been practicing yoga with Sandi for almost six years. There is so much about this class that makes it the best yoga class I’ve ever attended: • Sandi’s instruction is easy to follow • She keeps her eye on the entire class and will help you if your pose needs adjusting • She discusses potential injury if poses are not done properly (I can’t tell you how many times I hurt myself in other classes) • She provides alternative poses based on what would be most comfortable for class members • She continually researches her practice and improves her technique. It’s not unusual for her to discuss a different approach to a pose, or a new pose that works a specific body part • Her sessions emphasize mind-body awareness • She absolutely loves what she is doing. This class has done so much to improve my physical and emotional well-being. In classes I’ve taken in the past, there hasn’t been much mind-body work. That is integral in Sandi’s sessions. I believe Sandi has a sample session on the East Sac Yoga Facebook page. I encourage you to give it a try.
