I started going to Communitas September 1, 2023. I wasn’t new to CF but I needed to change gyms and I had heard about CFC. At the time I had a hurt knee and couldn’t figure out what the issue was, even after a MRI and PT that was ordered by my Dr. The owner Jordan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and had me start doing PT and after about 6 months of rehab my knee was better, stronger and I wasn’t in constant pain. I could do things I couldn’t do before because of the pain. I am also an older athlete and PRs don’t happen very often anymore but I was still hitting PRs at CFC, with the great programming and amazing coaches that care about you overall wellbeing is the best! Not only are the coaches and Owner awesome, the members are nice and welcoming!! Not to mention Jordan’s parents who help around the gym and spoil us with treats, breakfast sometimes after our Saturday Community workout, who everyone is welcomed to attend for free!!! They have so much equipment and Jordan is always getting new things to play with or adding to what he already has in the gym. They also have a sauna and cold plunge to use before or after your workout or on your rest days. Come check out CFC, you might just find your home away from home!!

I wanted to join a CrossFit gym because I didn’t know how to workout on my own properly. I saw someone at my regular gym lifting a barbell and I thought that was pretty cool. How can I learn that? I’m not very good at pushing myself, and I definitely do not like to workout alone. I honestly don’t have that motivation every day and I think it’s extremely boring most of the times. So I decided to join Communitas-almost 4 years ago. The quality of the service I got it was just unimaginable, I had literally athletes (the coaches are extremely professional and usually very dedicated to the Crossfit community) teaching me skills every single day. Every single one of them is unique, they push you, they support you, but also they care about your safety. But they are also friendly. I made some incredible friends at this gym that I hang out with on a regular basis. My body changed so much during these years, I can definitely see a difference now. I have more energy throughout the day , this place just makes me so happy. Also, I appreciate Jordan’s efforts in always improving and maintaining the quality of the gym, but mostly , bringing us together in the best community there is in Sacramento area.

I searched around for different CrossFit gyms and landing at Communitas felt so very welcoming. It started with Jordan messaging me about what I wanted out of the gym and inviting me to join a class. I continued with the coaches and how they treat the folks in the classes. They are supportive without being pushy. There is a lot of focus on ensuring the movements are safe and this is born into the coaching culture from Jordan’s experience as a physical therapist. The gym is fun, warm, welcoming, and open to anyone willing to give it a try.

Been coming here since 2023 and have had a great experience from day one. Easily the best CrossFit gym (honestly, the best gym overall) I’ve been to. Jordan and all the coaches are fantastic. Jordan being a DPT makes a huge difference—he’s extremely knowledgeable, great at modifying workouts, and even offers PT as part of the membership. When we moved out of Midtown, one of the biggest factors in choosing our new place was still being able to come to this gym. The coaching is great, but the community is what really sets it apart. I’ve made friends here, and the environment Jordan has built is welcoming and supportive. Highly recommend!

I truly can’t speak highly enough about CrossFit Communitas! From my very first visit, I felt genuinely welcomed and supported. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and sincerely committed to helping every member grow—regardless of their fitness background. They focus on proper technique, provide clear guidance, and ensure each workout is both effective and safe. The sense of community truly reflects the name “Communitas.” The environment is encouraging, and motivating. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, you instantly feel included. The programming is consistently varied, and challenges you to become stronger both physically and mentally. The facility is clean, fully equipped, and filled with positive energy that makes you excited to show up and train. If you’re searching for a gym that offers expert coaching, dynamic workouts, and a supportive community, CrossFit Communitas is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it!
