I recently purchased an Allegro 2 Reformer with the standard box, jumpboard, ring, and ball from Balanced Body, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. From the initial consultation through delivery and post-purchase support, the professionalism of the team truly stood out. Nancy Tenoglio, Key Account Executive, was instrumental in guiding me through the selection process. She carefully walked me through configuration options, color selections, and equipment details to ensure I felt completely confident in my decision. Purchasing a reformer at this level is both exciting and a meaningful investment, and Nancy’s knowledge, patience, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. Due to a small administrative mix-up involving order emails, Nancy arranged for the ring and ball to be provided as a complimentary gift. That thoughtful gesture spoke volumes about the company’s commitment to customer care and accountability. It was handled proactively and graciously, further reinforcing the premium experience. After delivery, I noticed that the strap hooks were missing and one safety pin required replacement. The response from the customer service team was immediate and impressive. Russell Boyd addressed the matter promptly and arranged for replacements to be shipped at no cost. When additional follow-up was needed, Rehonda Lewis and Denise Reynoso ensured everything was handled efficiently and professionally. The safety pin was replaced without hesitation. Every interaction was courteous, articulate, and solution-oriented — exactly what one hopes for when investing in premium equipment. The Allegro 2 itself is outstanding in both design and performance. However, what truly differentiates Balanced Body is the integrity and responsiveness demonstrated throughout the entire process. It is rare to encounter a company that delivers both exceptional product quality and a genuinely first-class customer experience. I live in the Brentwood/Franklin area, which represents one of the most active and highly engaged Pilates communities in Tennessee. I have practiced Pilates consistently for over six years, including extensive private instruction, and I am well connected within the greater Nashville Pilates network. Giscard Douge is the absolute best to work with! Of course, Balanced Body products are wonderful and I have placed several orders for my studio/PT clinic Core Moves in Columbus, OH. But Giscard has really made the difference. He has quickly and effectively resolved issues with shipping and delivery on multiple occasions. I am so grateful for his efforts and so pleased with the equipment!

I worked out regularly on the Allegro while taking pilates classes at a local studio — I absolutely loved the machine! Being new to pilates, it was important for me to feel safe and stable on my reformer, and this always was the case with the Allegro. This year I decided to bring pilates home and have ordered the Allegro Nextgen reformer. I will update my review once it has arrived, but so far my customer experience has been very positive. After placing my order, a sales representative reached out to me to confirm all of the details and provide more guidance on the shipping and delivery process. I was really grateful to receive this extra information and look forward to my new reformer!

Just. Great. Equipment!! We've been using Balanced Body equipment for over 23 years and have not had ANY problems other than replacing springs, straps and cables throughout the years!! Can't say enough about their workmanship. ❤️

I was incredibly excited to receive my reformer and purposely chose to add white glove delivery so the equipment would be brought into my home and unboxed as described at the time of purchase. Sadly, my delivery experience was the complete opposite of what was promised. My delivery was handled by AIT/CNS Delivery in the Buffalo area, and the delivery team was extremely unprofessional and appeared to have little experience handling this type of equipment. Rather than properly moving the reformer components, they used the sitting box to transport other pieces and stacked parts of the unit haphazardly on top of each other. During the process, they repeatedly hit my walls and staircase while bringing the equipment into my home. As a result, the sitting box was damaged along with my home during the delivery. I immediately contacted Balanced Body to report what had occurred. What was most disappointing was the response from the delivery company when Balanced Body contacted them. They lied about the time we coordinated and failed to take accountability for the damage that occurred in my home and not following the white glove delivery process. They said to contact their insurance company and file a claim myself to seek reimbursement. Balanced Body customer service team responded and coordinated sending me a replacement sitting box after I provided photos of the damage. I also appreciate that the white glove delivery fee was refunded. However, I remain disappointed by the overall experience and the condition of the product itself. According to Balanced Body’s website: “Premium woods to fit your individual style. Our standard woods are Strata® Rock Maple and Strata® Artisan Maple. Rock Maple is rated harder than beech, oak and pine, with consistent color and grain for a uniform look.” I choose Strata Rick Maple, unfortunately my reformer contains several very visible dark knots in the wood. I was told these are natural characteristics, but they are prominent and immediately noticeable. Based on the description of “consistent color and grain” and the images shown on the website, this was not what I expected for a piece of equipment at this price point. Before writing this I again checked the website to ensure I did not miss something in the images I saw when I decided to make this purchase and in their images I do not see these type of marks. For the cost of this equipment and the reputation of the brand, I expected a much higher level of care in both delivery and product quality. I hope this feedback helps Balanced Body evaluate the delivery partners used in the Buffalo area and ensure customers receive the level of service and product quality that is represented when purchasing.
