24 Hour Fitness

I've been a member at the Rancho Cordova branch for 2 years and I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism of staff and the great and diverse amount of weights and equipment. It's awesome to see everyday, young and old men and woman working on their health and fitness. The manager, Martina Villasenor, is friendly and caring toward all her members and knows most, if not all, by first name.

I’ve been commuting to this area for over a year and avoided this gym because of the bad reviews. Finally tried it tonight and honestly, it’s not nearly as bad as people make it seem. Yes, the equipment is older and a few areas could use a deeper clean—especially the restroom/shower area—but I’ve seen way worse at other 24-hour gyms. Most machines were working (I only noticed one down), and all the cardio equipment was running with people using it. I still want to check out more of the club, but I’ll definitely be back. Great spot to get a workout in and kill time while traffic dies down.

Busy place. All and all good place to workout. Only recommendation is to hold members accountable to pick up after themselves. People like using paper towels but leaving them in floor is unacceptable. May be club can provide more garbage cans to see if it helps. I would also like to see men’s room on more regular cleanup schedule and Sauna as well. Both of these places don’t look good even on best days.

By far the worst gym in the area. First off, the hours are terrible. Some days they close at 8 PM, which makes no sense for a place called 24 Hour Fitness. Cleanliness is also a serious issue. The sauna has had the same puddle of sweat sitting there for what seems like forever and the steam room smells like black mold It is honestly pretty concerning. The equipment is outdated and constantly breaking down, which makes the whole place feel neglected. To make things worse members start getting rushed out before closing time. I do not blame the employees because they have always been friendly, but it clearly reflects poor management. They probably don’t get paid past 8pm and what to go home. I am honestly surprised this location still has as many members as it does. I may end up switching to InShape Family Fitness unless anyone has better recommendations.

This place needs to be remodel. It's not pleasant place to work out. I am using this place because it's close to my house. The pool area floor It's very dirty, a lot of stairs, hot tub edge its broken. Even if the janitor try to clean, doesn't look good. The janitor do their best but not to much they can do. So many machines or out of order for long time. The hot tub It's working half way for more than 3 months. Looks like nobody care to fix it. I asked one guy from front desk when the hot tub will be fixed, he didn't have a answer for me, he told me to ask the manager. Today I experience another big problem, the hot water didn't run on shower. I am very disappointed. I can't give more the one star to this facility.
