Out of all the 24 hr fitness I have been to, this one is by far the best one you'll get in sacramento. Gym equipment are well kept and clean. Bathroom is always stocked and generally clean (that's high for a 24 hr fitness). Staff are always so nice and willing to help you out! You'd be surprised but the people here are also friendly. I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good, affordable gym that clearly had people caring for it.

Went in this morning and honestly had one of the best gym experiences I’ve had in a while. The place was super clean, the equipment was all in great shape, and there was plenty of space to get a good workout in without feeling crowded. The vibe was positive and motivating, which made it easy to push myself a little harder. Big shout-out to Alicia at the front desk—she was super welcoming when I checked in and set the tone for the whole visit. It really makes a difference when the first person you see is so friendly, upbeat, helpful without being pushy, and just created an all-around great atmosphere.

I’m writing this as an older sister of someone who has been coming to this location for a while. Overall, she has not had any issues and has generally felt comfortable at the gym. However, there is one situation that needs to be addressed. She recently signed up to train with one of the male trainers. The initial consultation itself was professional and went fine. It was after the session, during follow-up communication, that things became inappropriate and crossed what I would consider clear professional boundaries. I have personally seen the messages exchanged between them. While my sister is not entirely without fault in how she responded, the responsibility ultimately falls on the trainer to maintain professionalism at all times. He is a representative of the gym, and as a paid trainer working with multiple clients — both women and men — he should be held to a higher standard. The nature of some of the text messages was not appropriate for a trainer-client relationship. Regardless of whether she chose to continue training with him, a professional relationship had already been established. Communication should remain strictly professional from his side, especially considering she is a paying client. It is also concerning that trainers are providing personal cell phone numbers to clients. Communication should occur on a platform that is monitored by management and upper management to ensure accountability and protect both clients and staff. I strongly suggest revisiting the policy that allows trainers or coaches to communicate with clients through personal phones. Situations like this create unnecessary risk and discomfort. I am not looking to get anyone in trouble, particularly since my sister intends to continue attending this gym. I am also not suggesting there was malicious intent. However, gyms should be a place where members — especially young women — feel completely safe and confident that interactions with staff remain professional at all times. Are sexual harassment and professional boundary trainings required for trainers and coaches? Ongoing training in these areas is critical. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and uses it constructively to ensure all members continue to feel safe, respected, and protected.

The steam room was very unsanitary during my visit— dirty floors and several patrons spitting on the floor in steam room and showers. Several times I’ve been here the locker room floors are absolutely filthy. No staff were present to address the situation when I left. Definitely not acceptable for a shared wellness space and should be addressed for the safety and comfort of all members.
