Yoga House in Pasadena is a rare find. After ten years living here, I only discovered it just before moving to France, and I’m so grateful I did. Unlike the many corporate studios popping up everywhere, Yoga House has a genuine, old-school spirit with a range of experienced teachers. When you see Iyengar classes on the schedule, it’s often a good sign, and with legends like Paul Cabanis, the quality is undeniable. What truly defines Yoga House is its welcoming atmosphere. As a yoga teacher, I know many people hesitate to step into a studio, fearing judgment or discomfort. Here, it’s the opposite. I also admire their dedication to the community, offering free classes for women recovering from cancer. It’s rare to see words followed by actions, and that commitment is deeply inspiring. If you’re new and want a gentle introduction, start with Peggy or Susan. For those wanting to refine alignment and explore depth, Paul’s classes are exceptional. I also tried Benjamin’s class — he’s a young teacher with remarkable talent. Dela is wonderful too. On top of their regular schedule, they host workshops with outstanding teachers from other studios, expanding the learning experience. Thank you to Yoga House for giving me the opportunity to practice during my last month in Pasadena. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a place to begin with a solid foundation and grow with confidence.

I have been doing yoga for 10 years, but I have been coming to Yoga House since April 2024. I have loved the Level 1-2 & Level 2 classes with Sabina, Susan & Ashlee. I am very health-conscious, so yoga is one component of my physical & mental health fitness, and I find that this particular studio has a wonderful community of people, teachers and yogis, and all are very welcoming to all yogi levels. I look forward to every single class! I have never felt better!

Daho has been the shining light for me every Tuesday throughout my pregnancy. Her prenatal yoga classes are the perfect blend of mindfulness, strength-building, and deep connection. Each session is thoughtfully sequenced with breath-work, gentle flows, and grounding asanas that support the changing body and prepare it for labor and birth. Daho’s calming presence, steady voice, and intuitive guidance create a safe and nurturing space where I feel seen and supported. She integrates pelvic floor awareness, hip openers, restorative poses, and intentional modifications that honor each stage of pregnancy. I always leave class feeling more centered, empowered, and in tune with my body and baby. If you're looking for a prenatal yoga teacher who truly understands the needs of the pregnant body and spirit, Daho is a rare gem.
