About

Y7 Studio Silver Lake offers heated yoga classes in a modern facility with thoughtful amenities. The studio features three bathrooms, two showers, complimentary lockers, a refresh bar, touchless water stations, and HEPA air purifiers to maintain air quality. Dedicated parking is available, though some members note the lot can feel small during peak times. Instructors like Monica receive praise for providing accommodations for all skill levels throughout their flows, helping both beginners and experienced practitioners feel challenged and supported.

reviewsWhat Members Say

Members praise instructors like Monica for providing excellent accommodations for all levels, making classes accessible and challenging. Some appreciate the studio as a refreshing alternative to traditional workouts, though others find the classes underwhelming or leave feeling gross rather than strengthened. Concerns include hygiene practices like equipment cleaning with wet wipes, nontoxic product choices in bathrooms, and customer service issues such as unresponsive communication and poor handling of lost property, including a damaged yoga mat left in the rain. The small parking lot is noted but generally manageable.

Monica is a fantastic instructor! I love that she provided a lot of accommodations for all levels throughout the flow. Would absolutely recommend her class to anyone at any level!

Always love coming into Y7 and challenging my body with a yoga class as opposed to the standard weight training/CrossFit style of workouts I’ve grown accustomed to the last decade. It seems the little challenges of muscles I rarely use tend to make me shake, sweat and squirm but it’s a must try workout.

Not a fan. I signed up for their 3 class special and after the first class I didn’t want to go back, but I thought I’d give it a couple more tries and try different styles of classes and instructors. Didn’t like any of the classes. I’ve taken a lot of heated yoga classes and this was an experience I left feeling gross, not stronger or more relaxed. After class the cleaning of equipment is left to people taking the class to use a wet wipe. How do you actually thoroughly clean cloth bands with a wet wipe? That feels a bit unhygienic and combining that with a personal unliking to the style of their classes, I won’t be going back. I also was a bit surprised that the products in the bathroom weren’t more mindful, like nontoxic. The parking lot is small, but I personally never had an issue parking. I can see though that it could be during busy classes.

I was nice enough to email y7at the address on their website about an insane experience i had with their front desk person instead of leaving a review. It has been 3 days and no word from them! The class was also incredibly underwhelming. I also later found out that the front desk person deliberately marked me absent so i would get charged by classpass. See pic

When I left my yoga mat at the Silverlake Y7 studio over a rainy weekend, I emailed asking if they’d seen it and got a “we have tons of mats in the back, ask the front desk” in reply. When I went back to the studio, I got back a sopping wet yoga mat. I asked why it had been left out in the rain over the weekend, and the manager said - without remorse or apology - that there was no storage in the studio. Really bummed that the Manduka mat I’ve had for years is badly water-damaged. It just left a really bad taste in my mouth that this is how they treat first-time clients... this is just not what the spirit of yoga is all about :(
