This review is long overdue. I’ve been a member of the humbled body since it first opened near my apartment, and it has truly become my all-time fave studio. From day one, it’s had such a special, small-community feel that’s hard to find. Every instructor I’ve taken (from OG Devan, Amanda, Jen, Shaun, Mel, to name a few) is motivating, uplifting, and genuinely amazing - The kind of instructors who make you feel supported while still pushing you to show up as your best self. The space itself is beautiful: calming, zen, thoughtfully designed, with great amenities that make the entire experience feel elevated and relaxing. As someone who’s been practicing hot yoga and pilates for many years, I can confidently say this is the best studio I’ve consistently gone back to. The welcoming energy, the inclusivity and diversity, the quality of classes, and just the overall vibe are truly unmatched! If you’ve been thinking about taking a class here - DO it! You won’t regret it and get addicted in the best way ;)

I’ve been coming for over a year and LOVE it here. The classes are the perfect level of challenging. The serene, plant-filled environment puts you in the perfect mood for yoga, Pilates, sculpt, whatever. But what I love most about the studio is that they are accepting of everyone - all ages, genders, body types are welcome!

Devan is instructor and owner and she was great. It was my first time doing Pilates, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. She has a ton of experience and is very welcoming. This studio is a hidden gem in the Arts District. Whether you’re experienced or new to Pilates, it’s a great place to visit. Parking is on the street, and although the area might seem a bit sketchy at first, it’s actually very safe due to regular security patrols throughout the district, so you don’t encounter as much homelessness as in downtown LA. They also have a cold plunge, which adds to the charm of this quaint, intimate space. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a rejuvenating hot yoga experience, this studio is a hidden gem. Nestled in a serene garden setting, it offers the perfect ambiance for a hot yoga session. The temperature is impeccably set to enhance your practice without overwhelming you. The instructor I had the pleasure of taking a class with was Shaun and she was exceptional—her guidance is both supportive and motivating, making each pose feel achievable. The cherry on top is her playlist, which adds a fun and energizing rhythm to your flow. If you want a yoga session that’s as refreshing as it is invigorating, this studio is definitely worth a visit.

Great space, great yin class. They have several heated class options. The class looks out to a beautiful garden area. They even do sound baths. Would go back!
