reviewsWhat Members Say
Regular members praise the high-energy, motivational environment and specifically highlight instructor David's positive coaching style. They describe supportive staff and appreciate the challenging, choreography-heavy workouts that help them build strength over time. However, multiple reviewers note the studio can feel unwelcoming to newcomers, with minimal instruction for first-timers and policies that seem to prioritize regular members. Some mention seat assignment frustrations when booking through services like ClassPass and recommend off-peak hours for better guidance.

The three of us had an incredible experience with soulcycle. I scheduled a week in advance. The class was full of approximately 25 people = a full house. 45 minutes of hard/fun cycling. Their's always friendly staffing available to help you. Plus they have very nice clothes to choose from. I highly recommend David's class because he was so positively motivational to push ever forward, never back. We haven't stopped going and were getting stronger every time. Thank you David and the rest of soulcycle for everything.

This SoulCycle has a great vibe; high energy, positive and supportive. This starts with the front desk peeps and extends to every employee. The instructors are genuinely supportive and up-lifting. I’m digging it! I now go 5-6 times per week. 😊

This studio is always packed. The staff is usually pretty helpful. There’s a few awesome instructors (and 1 or 2 not so great ones). If you book on ClassPass you’re booking the equivalent of a “Basic Economy” ticket and your seat gets assigned right before class at random. I tried to get moved one time and they told me no even though there were other open spots. I thinks it’s better to come at off peak hours (noon classes are great!) as the experience is more formal and it feels like instructor can offer more guidance.

Not very welcoming for new people. I do indoor cycling everyday in Colombia, where I live, and I’m not a beginner. Even though, the class was extremely confusing with no instructions for new members. The coach isn’t even on the bike showing the moves, they put someone else to do it. I love cycling, but feel this is not the best place to do it.

Not really friendly if you’re not a recurring member, so align your expectations before going. I take cycling classes every week including at SoulCycle in other cities, and this one was the least welcoming/enjoyable. Very choreography heavy and they don’t really teach you the moves. They also have a “if you’re a beginner don’t be in the first row” policy which I think is wild, but I guess that’s aligned to who they are as a brand and it seems to work for their members. But when you go for the first time, or go every now and then, it feels very much like “just do your thing and don’t bother us”.
