We spent five days on retreat at Sivananda Yoga Center, and it was a meaningful experience for both my husband and me. The days were well balanced with yoga and meditation. Very welcoming community. New Year’s Eve was especially memorable—quiet, intentional, and a wonderful way to begin the year. One highlight was my husband’s meditation session using an EEG device. He had never seen that level of progress before, which made the experience particularly impactful. We left refreshed, having learned a great deal, and we hope to carry daily meditation and yoga into our routine. We recommend this Sivananda to others seeking focused practice and community.

This place heals your soul. I am very grateful to have met so many beautiful people here and to have had the opportunity to participate in the programs/workshops they offer. My personal fav was the 'Basic Neuroscience of Chronic Pain' workshop. If you are in LA, be sure to visit and experience it yourself.

I recently spent a weekend here. It was just what I needed to recharge and reset. The ashram is beautiful, peaceful, and every part of the house exudes peace and love. Both swamis were kind and welcoming. The yoga classes are traditional Sivananda. I loved them. I enjoyed each morning where attendees would meditate together at sat sang and then we would chant. The energy created in the satsang regulated my nervous system each time. If you want a weekend of true rest, come to the la ashram!

I have spent almost a week in Sivananda Yoga Retreat, LA. Beautiful place and felt the peace in every inch of the retreat. Swamiji and the staff are very friendly and they treated me so preciously and very gentle and respectful. The yoga classes were very well taught. They have one on one sessions and also they have a massage room. Interiors and exteriors are super clean all the time. Plenty of space to take walk in the backyard and just beautiful trees and plants which were well maintained. The food was delicious and the kitchen was very welcoming. I was able to attend cooking class which was great. I highly recommend this retreat if one wants to recharge, relax and experience the inner peace. Fell in love with the place and people. Looking forward to go again and attend the various events. Great people, great vibes, great ambience, everything was super amazing. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for everything Swamiji and the staff. 🙏🙏
