New to the State, decided to mark off another item from my Bucket List. Always wanted to see the MASH filming location. I was not disappointed. What a beautiful State Park, the views are just spectacular here. The hike to the location took me just over an hour, but I was stopping to take photos of various spots along my hike too. My only regret was not having more time to truly explore more of the area. I will be returning again this summer to hike around more spots. I would like to remind anyone coming up here to be EXTREMELY mindful of where you are, this is a wilderness area which is home to a lot of wildlife. You are in their home, think before you decide to approach that friendly looking Forest Puppy, or that cute cat w the murder mittens. It won't end well for either of you. Lastly, the rattlesnakes, I was in the park about 6 hours total, I encountered 4 of them, almost stepped on one of them. Be careful where you step or where you decide to put your hand if climbing up a ledge. Aside from that, enjoy this truly beautiful place and relax.

Abundant parking. Beautiful views and very easy and nice trails. Nice waterfall with varying amount depending on rainfall. Has a nice information center with local native history and taxonomy of local flora & fauna.

I loved it, I went for new years day.i fished. I didn't catch anything. The hike was cute. I felt terrible I got there later. It was fine though. I stayed till dark like around 6 I was back at the parking lot. I made a small fire. I turned the grill on , grilled some meat , ate some tacos. Yum.

Really beautiful park! Highly recommend checking out the swimming hole at Rock Pool. Right now the water is really deep and you can jump from pretty high at your own risk. But there are lots of hidden rocks so make sure you check the depth of the area you plan on jumping into. The water is a biturky and very cold and refreshing. There's usually always people there so don't expect a nice private swimming hole but theres plenty of places along the creek you can go if you want more privacy.

Great camping spot. Nice flat and level pads. Plenty of tent space and big fire ring. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked, bring hand soap. Camp sites are dry but water at bathrooms. Settled in nice area, lots of peaks around campground and easy access.to hiking trails.
