I’ve been training at Lift Society for two years (3–4 days a week) and it has completely changed how I approach fitness. Even before I started tracking my lifts, I got stronger thanks to the small classes and hands-on coaching. After a one-on-one session, I finally started tracking — total game changer. Supportive community, intentional programming, and you always have your own space — no scrambling for equipment. If you want real strength training with real results, Lift Society is the place. I work out with Martine and Mylyn and both are excellent!!

If you’re looking for a small boutique gym that focuses on form when it comes to weight lifting this is the spot. Do not be intimidated by the decals on the front windows. The programming changes every four weeks, and the format of the class starts with either a lower body or upper body move with the intention to increase the amount of weight as you decrease the reps. The remainder of the class is doing another lower body and upper body move at high reps. This location has a cap of 8 people per class, but some of the other locations have more space. You get your own station so you don’t have to share barbells. You also are partnered up with a person to be each others spotters when doing bench presses. All the coaches are great, but one of the best is Matt. His classes tend to fill up fast.

I’d always wanted to get stronger but had no idea where to begin. I didn’t have the money for a personal trainer and at big box gyms I’m completely lost with all the machinery and people in the way. Lift Society is the answer to that problem. You get your own station and the classes are small enough that the trainers can still give you the attention you need. Their programming strikes the perfect balance: workouts are varied enough to stay interesting but grounded in the foundational movements that actually build real strength. There’s no unnecessary cardio or high-intensity circuits—just focused, intentional lifting designed to help you get stronger, leaner, and more resilient. The gym has a great mix of men and women, and the trainers are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your progress. Everyone feels welcome - even if you’ve never touched a barbell in your life! I can’t recommend Lift Society enough if you’re serious about building strength in a smart, sustainable way.

I’ve been going to Lift Society for over two years and the lifting knowledge and muscle gains have been incredible. I went in with no barbell experience and I feel fully versed in it now. The instructors are top notch and it feels like you have a personal trainer when needed. The class sizes are small and the instructors are very attentive and knowledgeable. The thing I like the most about it is that there are no overhead snatches or similar cross fit moves, and everything is very focused on not getting injured, so you get a big lift in, but without the downside of Injury. There is a big emphasis on tracking your numbers, which makes growing much easier and keeps you on your edge, and the system changes every month so it never gets old, which results in constantly growing in new ways. Three days a week is all you need, and there’s a Sunday class for those that want a little extra! Highly recommended!!!!

I joined Lift Society because I wanted to learn how to workout properly before joining a larger gym. 3 years later I’m still here and cant imagine leaving. My workouts here are truly my favorite parts of my week. Things that keep me here: - Personal squat racks - Great community - Knowledgeable and fun trainers - Evolving programming that works and keeps it interesting Shoutout to Jason for always pushing me harder 💪🏻
