After 10 years of being exclusively focused on cardio, I decided to try Lift Society 9 months ago - and it's been life-changing. I've not only transformed my body (and started getting the results I actually want), but completely shifted my perspective on strength training. The coaches are exceptional at working with beginners while still challenging more experienced lifters - and create a welcoming environment that made me feel comfortable from day one, even though I'd never touched a barbell before. I've seen significant improvements in my strength and overall fitness, and I actually get excited about workouts now. The community is also incredibly supportive! If you're considering strength training or looking for a new gym, I can't recommend Lift Society enough. It's converted me from a cardio-only person to someone who genuinely loves lifting weights. I'll never go back to my old routine!

Joining Lift Society was probably the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I’m not exaggerating. I’ve always been advised to lift weights, but doing it on my own at a gym was always a bit intimidating. I did my research and found that Lift Society offered exactly what I needed. Guidance on how to use the squat rack, new training cycles every month, detailed demonstrations on proper form and most importantly, amazing instructors that make it all happen. My favorite instructor is Torey. I take his classes at both studio city and Hollywood location. I’m about 5 months in, and have never felt stronger and more confident in my life. There’s something about lifting heavy ass weights bright and early in the morning that just gets you going for the day.

Lift Society is the best! In a few months I will have been going to this gym for 4 years - kinda crazy to think about. As someone who isn't particularly motived to make up by own gym workout, this is perfect for me. I get my own station and the programming has already been created. All I have to do is show up and be consistent. I switch between this location and the Hollywood one. All the trainers are so knowledgeable and ready to work with you. Studio city is a bit more spacious but you'll get the same workout at any of the locations on any given day since the programming is synced up across the studios. I have gotten so much stronger in the last (almost) 4 years! It's so cool to be able to compare my lifts from when I first started. I couldn't even bench press the bar or make it through all the sets. You see real tangible progress which gets addicting! I think it's super beginner friendly especially if you communicate that to the trainer. We've literally all been there and everyone is really nice. I had never lifted weights until this class and having a trainer there explaining each lift every time is so beneficial, even as someone who has been going for years. You get little nuggets of information and things start clicking. If you're reading this, give it a try!

Ever since I’ve switched to training at Lift Society, I’ve seen myself get stronger and feel healthier! The workout is challenging and all of the instructors prioritize good form to ensure everyone is as safe and strong as possible. I had a very disappointing experience with Lift Society’s customer service team. Communication was slow, unclear, and ultimately unhelpful when trying to resolve a simple issue. The experience felt disorganized and frustrating from start to finish. Unfortunately, based on how this was handled, I won’t be returning. I hope they take steps to improve their customer support moving forward.
