Great new addition to the Hangar 18 gyms. Was another rock climbing gym in the past that they converted to their own. The padding is now much better and safer, the routes are pretty good and there are a lot of varieties for different levels. The overhang is also pretty fun! Great place to bring kids and family for fun times, or for more serious climbers who want a really good workout. Smaller than some of the other gyms, it still gives you a lot of work out options. They have a smaller top roping area with some simple routes. This is mostly a bouldering gym.

Great for second visit and so on but the first visit was very confusing. The front desk just sat there chatting to one another and did the bare minimum for first timers to sign the waiver and that’s it. Nothing was explained about logistics of membership and stuff. The intro class was great though and it has everything you need about climbing. After the first time at Hangar, you basically know what to do. This gym is relatively new and clean. Can’t deny it’s a great environment for climbing. Just that the customer service is not beginner friendly at all, otherwise if you just go there and climb, it’s a good gym.

the combination of very stiff and tough mats with poor DYNO route settings makes for a terrible injury waiting to happen. I sprained my ankle for the first time here and as I'm reflecting, if i had landed the way at any touchstone gym i would've been fine. you live and you learn though. I would highly recommend AGAINST going to this gym. Avoid red dynos. Go to touchstone. End of story.
