We were visiting the area and my daughter wanted to try climbing after having a great time on the climbing wall at a pumpkin patch. We went to Boulderdash on a Monday afternoon when they have a couple of kids’ sessions. My daughter had an amazing time. The staff were all friendly, encouraging and helpful. We wound up climbing for nearly two hours and left with big smiles on our faces. Absolutely recommend!

Came in mid day and it was fairly empty. Great atmosphere and the fellow at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. As I was climbing he was even there to support another customer who was having a hard go at a certain climb which was great to see his support. There was a new wall being set so I’m sure this happens often and allows for new boulders frequently. There is a very long traverse set on the rope wall which was really fun and low enough to not require a rope. Ropes are human belay only and I did not see any auto belays there. The rental shoes were nice and clean and the grades were a great challenge similar in grade to what I’m used to in Santa Barbara. I can’t ask for much more in a climbing gym.

As a mom, I appreciate the safe friendly atmosphere here. My kids love it, are never bored and often bring their friends. I've been able to join climbers when I don't have a climbing partner. Since the belay test is thorough and strict, I know anyone in there can safely belay me. The routes and boulder problems are creative and challenging. Simply staying fit or focusing on climbing is convenient because membership includes all 3 gyms!!! I'm able to pop in for a quick traverse or climb from 530pm to closing. I've been able to climb outside with other families because the gym is a great meeting place for competent climbers. I don't look at this place as a workout gym but more of a membership to a healthy lifestyle which is invaluable. Where else can families and friends (uncles, teenagers, grandparents, siblings) hang out in an active healthy way? I've a photo of my 80 yr. old mom climbing. She has MS so anyone can do it and Boulderdash was especially helpful and patient with her!

Stopped by to check out. Did not try the park. Just got info. Youngest to start is age five. They offer lessons and private lessons during weekends.

The place is ok. The climbs themselves are fun but this place lacks all of the amenities that real climbing gyms have. No training boards, no weightlifting aside from a small rack of dumbbells (in the most awkward corner), no gear shop, no showers or saunas, horrible hours, etc. This place clearly cuts every corner. Oh, the men’s “urinal” is a literal toilet. Seriously.
