One of a kind space for health in Houston. Not only were they so kind, but the facility is amazing. It’s bright and calm and quiet. And they are protective of the amount of members they allow, so the feeling of exclusivity remains. This is so important for our clients and so many busy women and men in the area. Having the freedom to be in a beautiful space without having to fight a crowd, with every amenity you could ever ask for makes this one of our favorite places for fitness in the area.

I’ve been a member of the preserve for a couple of years. I was looking for a low-key gym—a nice, peaceful, place to work out, and this has everything I was looking for in spades. I really like that it is not pretentious, and I feel very comfortable here. So much so that for a year, I drove from way across town to go here. Love it ❤️

Stepping into The Preserve Gym was the beginning of a transformative fitness journey for me. This place redefined my workout experience, blending the pleasure of exercising with the beauty of nature. The gym’s unique nature-inspired design, envisioned by owner Molly Carter, creates an atmosphere where working out feels more like a rejuvenating retreat than a chore. The two-level gym, spanning nearly 16,000 square feet, is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment catering to all my fitness needs. The range of classes offered is impressive, and the small class sizes allow for personalized attention from the professional trainers. Whether it’s Pilates, which is a standout at the gym, high-intensity workouts, or a variety of yoga classes, there’s something for every fitness enthusiast. One of the highlights is the heated saltwater lap pool, providing a serene swimming experience. The gym is never overcrowded, maintaining an exclusive and peaceful environment. The staff are welcoming and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. The Preserve is more than just a gym; it’s a sanctuary in the heart of Houston where fitness goals are nurtured and achieved in the most motivating and enjoyable way. I am incredibly grateful for the impact it has had on my fitness journey, making it a place I look forward to visiting every day.

This nature-inspired fitness club is a breath of fresh air compared to many gym experiences of the past. The Preserve has created an oasis of fitness with stunning architecture, quality amenities, and professional staff. It has a resort spa/fitness facility feel to it. They offer a variety of challenging small-group classes led by a fantastic collective of trainers. The class times are diverse and start on-time. The overall experience of the club is very intimate and many of the staff and members are on a first-name basis. The staff is very professional and do their best to keep everything in tip-top shape. It’s rarely crowded and they also have a tranquil outdoor space where you are welcome to take some equipment outside or just grab some tea or coffee and take a breather at the garden tables. I also enjoy the outdoor saltwater pool which is heated. As the temperature drops outdoors, the pool gets reasonably comfortable for a swim. I love that there is an alternate entry to the locker rooms for quick pool access, that is very convenient. Outside of working out, the locker room is another wonderful space. A toasty steam room, oversized showers, and plenty of towels make it the perfect space to rejuvenate yourself. There is so much to love about this place and I think you will have to come experience it to see what resonates with you the most. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, and classy place to begin your fitness journey with a touch of zen, this is the place for you.

I was a member here for a few months in 2025. The front desk workers and fitness instructors were all super kind and accommodating for the most part which was really appreciated! I also really like how everything was laid out. Some people really don’t like the plastic dividers in the cardio section but I loved it haha. I also LOVED the outdoor area, it was super calm and zen. I ended up canceling due to a few things that were just not worth dealing with in the end: -👎over $200 a month (I now go to lifetime and I pay less and have way more resources available to me-a cafe, a work from home space, longer hours of operation, more classes available, etc). -👎very limited times and class options for group fitness classes. -👎the gym also closed very early IMO. -👎the speakers in the group fitness classes were TRASH. It was so distracting when taking a fitness class. -👎very limited options available for weight machines. The cancelation process was really smooth and the workers were super friendly! Maybe it would have been worth it at a lower price per month considering all of the limitations listed above.
