I can’t say enough great things about BC Fitness! The coaches are extremely caring, very encouraging and really knowledgeable. The gym has everything you need for Hyrox training, including the real turf for race day. This gym treats you like family from the day you walk into it. I joined BCFitness as a member after attending a few of the Hyrox Sunday track sessions and have now been training with Coach Lauren for 3 months. Coach Lauren is a GREAT coach. Before training with Lauren I was doing constant random HIIT classes and too many long Hyrox classes/ simulations, which left me constantly tired, always sore, and not performing my best. I had plateaued and I began to feel burnt out and with that came not making progress. Then I met Lauren and all of that changed for the better. I’m so grateful I started working with Lauren when I did, because after our first few sessions together we made a plan to improve my training routine to reach my performance goals. I am now seeing incredible results and improvements because of her support, care, and knowledge. Since working with Coach Lauren I now have structure and strategy in my weekly training plan and my workouts really are now truly quality over quantity. I can now measure my progress. My times in my Hyrox race stations are improving considerably and my running over the last few months has also really improved. Coach Lauren knows exactly when to push me and when to encourage me, and she always believes in me when I don’t always believe in myself. Every workout with her challenges me and I’ve grown so much just in a few months because of it. Lauren is so caring, super supportive, and genuinely invested in mine and everyone’s progress that she works with. If you’re looking for an amazing community and to perform like an athlete I highly recommend BC Fitness!

I can’t say enough about BC Fitness! The coaches are professional, encouraging and very knowledgeable. The equipment is well maintained. The community free events are so fun and help me connect with other like-minded people. I was introduced to BC via the free community track workout. Coach James supported me in training for my first marathon and has helped me continue to progress in each race since! His run program keeps me accountable and challenged me with new workouts that helped me become a stronger athlete. I’ve really enjoyed getting into the Hyrox training as well. If you’re looking for an amazing fitness community and knowledgeable coaches to support you on your journey, I highly recommend BC Fitness!

BC Fitness honestly feels like family. From the coaches to the people you work out with, everyone is supportive and welcoming. I found BC Fitness because I wanted to train for Hyrox, but I ended up finding a gym where I actually feel comfortable and encouraged. The coaches really know their stuff and are always willing to help. ( I ask a lot of questions) They could easily charge more for their level of knowledge, but they genuinely care about helping you get better. They really want to help. No ego, no pressure, just people who want to see you grow. It doesn’t feel like just a workout anymore. It feels like a place I want to be. I’ve definitely found my new gym family.

I cannot say enough good things about BC Fitness and my coach, James. When I first start this year, I was struggling with Hashimoto’s and rheumatoid arthritis. My health had taken such a toll that I went from training for a marathon to not being able to walk quarter of a mile, lift five pounds, or even squat. It was devastating physically and emotionally. James has been nothing short of amazing in guiding me back to strength and confidence. With his patience, expertise, and encouragement, I’ve gone from that very low point to now being able to run 3–4 miles, lift 20 pounds, and even do weighted walking lunges—things I thought I might never be able to do again. He doesn’t just train me physically; he supports me through the mental and emotional challenges that come with chronic illness and recovery. Best yet, he listens to me complain and always has a witty comment back. :-) What makes BC Fitness truly stand out is the atmosphere. All of the trainers are inspiring, knowledgeable, and supportive. It’s a place where you feel motivated and safe to push yourself while also respecting your limitations. Because of James and the entire BC Fitness team, I now truly believe I can reach my goals again. They’ve given me hope, strength, and the tools to keep moving forward. I’m beyond grateful for everything they’ve done for me.

I am a 59-year-old female, and I have been attending boot camp classes with James for about 7 years. BC Fitness is the best thing I have done for myself during this time. We never do the same workout twice, so different muscles get a workout with every session. I painted my living room a few weeks ago, and I didn’t ache anywhere, not even a little. My legs weren’t sore from going up and down the ladder; my arms and back didn’t ache from reaching above my head and bending down all day. Any oddball chore I do, and I think, “I’m going to feel this tomorrow,” never brings the expected aches I used to get from working unused muscles. My mobility is good. My energy level is good. My strength is good. I am able to do everything I did 10 years ago. James will meet you where you are in your ability level. He gives modifications for injuries and other issues, so you don’t have to worry about what you “can’t do.” My boyfriend thinks I am the hottest girl in the room. He comments on my sculpted back and arms… no flab here! I used to attend classes in person, but now I always attend online through Teams, so convenient! And having a scheduled class keeps me accountable to show up 3 times a week. I feel sexy and confident, even at 59! Thanks James!
