I had the package: yoga, body scrub and massage, as a birthday gift. The best gift ever !!! Yoga class was great, it was my first time doing yoga and I love it. Body scrub and massage…OMG !!! Just amazing 🤩 I left the place as a person with „baby skin” , my muscles were so relaxed and light. I felt like I was walking on the clouds ☁️. I definitely recommend this place 👍

I’ve been coming here regularly and have taken at least six classes now with Zach, Justine, and Alexis, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. I’m going through a hard time financially right now (every weekday 10:30 am they have donation based classes). Yoga Spa has been exactly what I needed, both physically and mentally. Each instructor brings something completely unique to their class, different styles, different messaging, different energy, but what they all have in common is a deep level of self awareness and professionalism. They are seasoned, confident, and genuinely excellent teachers. Coaches, trainers, guides, whatever you want to call them, they are top tier. Every single class has made me more aware of my body and where I am in time and space on the mat. By the end of each practice, my body feels noticeably different, more grounded, more aligned, more present. That does not happen by accident. That comes from instructors who actually know what they’re doing and care about how students move and feel. It’s rare to find a space like this, especially after so many yoga studios were lost during the pandemic. A donation based studio that still offers this level of quality, warmth, and community is something special. The environment is welcoming, the instructors are wonderful, and even the other students contribute to a genuine sense of community. This place makes yoga accessible without cutting corners, and that matters. Highly recommend.

⸻ I took Zach’s class at Yoga Spa and he’s one of the best teachers I’ve had in NYC. He brings back what yoga is supposed to be: connection, mindfulness, and breath, not just exercise. I’ve practiced for years, before and after the pandemic, and most studios have lost that real sense of community. Zach brings it back. He’s knowledgeable, attentive, and keeps everyone supported. His cues are clear, his sequencing makes sense, and even when we flowed on our own, I didn’t feel lost. That says a lot. Spiritually grounding and physically on point. Plus, it’s donation-based, which matters when you’re between jobs. Yoga Spa is lucky to have him.

What a great vibe Yoga Spa 1881 has! I was warmly greeted upon entering. I was shown the space. I was told about their specials. I took two classes back to back with two different teachers And felt a warm energy from each of them. I will try the spa services too
