Monster is hands down the best spin studio I’ve ever gone to. The classes are challenging but still accessible to someone who’s new to spin. They often do themed classes and monthly challenges which makes working out even more fun. I have never had an instructor I didn’t love, and the facilities are convenient and have all the amenities you’d need. I love taking classes here!

Great location, fun having the music videos projected during the ride. Only downside is the music is WAY loud, much too loud even compared to other spin studios. Be sure to grab a pair of earplugs off the desk.

Great studio, enjoy the theme rides as well as regular rides.I like the vibe of the studio and that it's in the dark. Feels very accommodating to all levels, where the rides are all about the music and pushing yourself not so much about being competition like flywheel and peloton. Love the big screens and "watching" music videos during the rides. Wish they offered 60 min classes and changing area by the lockers can be super packed right after a class gets out if you go at peak times.

It’s definitely geared toward a very specific type of person. Doesn’t feel as well put together as some of the other boutique spin studios. I went twice and the shoes and towels seemed to smell as if they hadn’t been cleaned properly. The music videos are definitely what sells the place, so if that’s a draw to you, it’s fun. The music is super loud. I’ve never needed earplugs at any other studios I’ve been to. But the speakers are also blown out so you can barely make out what the teachers are saying. I’d consider coming back if I got another deal (sometimes they have flash sales for cheaper rides). Bikes are first come first serve as you enter the room and they let people in late, which is great if you’re one of those people who’s always late, but not great if you’re in the back of the studio where you have to see everyone coming in and out every time they open the door.

The instructors are good but the studio is horrible. They closed the location at Soho WITHOUT any notice to the customers and forced everyone to go to Limelight location. They don’t offer the refund for the change of business nor the customer services is helpful. I do not recommend this place at all. There are plenty of other choices out there if you want to have a good cycling class in NYC.
