I am seeker... 24 years ago I was exposed to Sahaja Yoga in Atlanta and recently found it again. I have enjoyed the meditation on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 W 43rd for the past few months and try my best to attend once a week. The leads, Angela and Carolla are very welcoming and informative. I find much balance after I finish the class.

The Sahaja Yoga Meditation Center in NYC is home to meditation instructors who are clearly driven by a mutual passion to share this meditation with whomever comes. Tip though: if you have a Yoga Mat, don’t bring it! I say this from experience. Sahaja Yoga is, first and foremost, a meditative practice. But the peace and silence of mind that you get in return is so worth it! Beyond this, the Center is also a great place to connect with like-minded individuals who are seeking stillness in the busy life of NYC.

Sahaja yoga was introduced to me by one of my friend. I have been practicing Sahaja yoga for more than 10years. Sahaja yoga is a great meditative technique to calm the thoughts and relax mind and body. It brings peace of mind and great joy. It keeps me focused and makes me discreet. I am thankful of Sahaja yoga meditation.

I have attended many meditation programs and I have had one of the most wonderful experiences in the Manhattan Sahaja yoga Meditation meetings. The instructors here are very helpful and answer everyone's questions with humility. They create a very conducive environment for meditation and for feeling the inner energy. I have always felt very peaceful after every meeting and dearly miss the weekly meetings after having relocated out of NYC area. One thing I found to be very helpful is to follow the instructors' advice of meditatiing at home everday in between these meetings. That has really helped me grow in my meditation and feel better every week. I am very lucky to have found another Sahaja Yoga Meditation meeting in my neighborhood in the new city that I have moved to and I am enjoying it every bit here as well.
