The instructors are all wonderful and supportive, and I am a full convert from classpass after experiencing how nice this studio in particular was at creating a sense of community. Cannot say enough positive things!

Took 1 or 2 classes here with classpass and then got an amazing intro offer for the studio for 3 months, so I figured “why not?” A couple of classes in, I was so afraid of what I had gotten myself into for the next few months because it felt SO hard. After completing my 10th class, I can say I’m hooked! I’m amazed at how strong I feel with each class, and I feel so much more comfortable with the movement style. I have a strength training background, so I love the Define classes where deadlifts and bent over rows are sprinkled between the typical barre movements. For Classic classes, it’s incredible the burn you get from such small body/light-weight movements. The classes also go by really quickly and flow smoothly from block to block so that I’m usually shocked by the time the lights go down towards the end of class. The instructors are amazing! They empower you to get through the class with both motivation and humor and make a ton of individual adjustments (with consent) if you need a little help getting the hang of things. The progress I’ve made in a few short weeks and the fun I have every class have me excited to continue with my 3 months and beyond!

I love the structure, routine, and sense of community that Pure Barre offers. The manager, Crystal, is amazing and so supportive and encouraging. Sammie, Rachel, Emily, Sarah, and Hannah are amazing (and I also love Kevin when he comes to substitute). They are experienced instructors and know their clients/students. As a person who truly hates the gym, Pure Barre as been a true Godsend for me and I love it there!

All the Pure Barre studios I’ve been to in the city are wonderful, but LIC is my home studio and everyone here is awesome. I love all the formats, I feel so welcome coming in, and all the instructors and desk staff are super kind.

I love the challenging workouts that never stay the same so I don't get bored. I love the supportive and positive instructors. Most of all, Pure Barre NYC is such a great community where managers and teachers set a positive tone so even the members root for each other in and out of classes. The LIC studio especially is so great to step into after a long day at work. It's the best!
