Palladium is like the gucci of dorms. They have a rock wall, a swimming pool, a gym and you have food options from philly cheesesteaks to poke / sushi after a workout. You're still not better than grammercy Green though. Gram on top 💯

It's a smaller gym so I would not recommend coming here after day classes or during the evening because it will be super packed. Early in the morning would be a better a time if you want access to equipment without having to wait.

Dining hall is amazing! I go to it all the time and it is usually packed, ESPECIALLY for the grill. Weight room is the size of a small garage but at least it has most of the equipment you need, so I would only use it if I can't go to 404.

Clean and well-maintained facilities, great for staying active. Palladium has a number of gyms, a swimming pool, a climbing wall, and a variety of workout equipment. I've generally been very happy with the state of all the facilities; the locker rooms are fairly clean, the pool is always in a great state. Unfortunately, some of the staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming. I was practicing Latin dance in the auxiliary gym, and was loudly told to leave. Not only was I the only person in the gym and not disturbing anyone, but the gym also regularly hosts dance classes, so it seems extremely irrational to disallow dance practice in the auxiliary gym. The policies also don't mention anything about this.

WARNING- THIS GYM AS ALL NYU GYMS CLOSE HALF AN HOUR EARLIER THAN STATED. If you are planning to go have your workout, know that they will kick you out of the workout rooms 30 mins before they close. This is very important to know when you have a certain amount of time you need to get your workout done. I have never experienced this at any other gym in my life other than at NYU.
