reviewsWhat Members Say
Members consistently praise the experienced, warm instructors who welcome practitioners of all levels and provide clear instruction with constant form correction. Many describe the studio as beautiful, clean, and spacious with excellent amenities like lavender-scented towels and good drink selections. Specific instructors like Alex and Morgan receive glowing mentions for their wonderful teaching and relaxing energy. However, one instructor named April receives significant criticism for maintaining unsafe heat levels around 130-140F without adequate warning or breaks, with multiple students reporting having to step out to avoid passing out despite being experienced hot yoga practitioners. Regular students confirm this is specific to April's classes while other instructors maintain appropriate temperatures.

The classes are unique and ID offers multiple class options. The instructors are very experienced in multiple types of yoga and also are extremely warm and welcoming to yoga practitioners of all levels. This is a top-tier practice - you will not be disappointed.

We popped into class while visiting NYC from Texas. Had the pleasure of taking class with Alex! She was wonderful. The space is beautiful! Really hope we can come back soon.

I truly love this studio. It's very clean and recently updated. The locker rooms are spacious and have many amenities. All of the staff is wonderful and lovely. I've taken a few classes there and the studio itself is large enough that you don't feel like you're on top of your neighbor which is something I struggle with at other studios. The heat level is honestly fantastic. When I take a heated class, I want it to feel toasty as soon as I step in the room. I definitely was sufficiently sweaty when I left. My instructor this weekend was Morgan, and she just has such a relaxing energy about her. Her cues are clear, she is constantly checking and correcting form, and the exercises are tough. I left feeling totally restored. I can't wait to come back this week.

This studio is the exact reason why i love NYC. I'm obsessed. The lavender scented cold towel at the end was a gem. They also carry a good selection of drinks. I LOVE it. Thank you!!!

I don’t normally post reviews but this was really upsetting. April’s class was way too hot - as in unsafe temperature. I would estimate ~130-140F which is almost dry sauna temps (you’re already dripping sweat before the class begins) and the metal rings on the corner of the mat are very hot to the touch. Everything else aside (a bit smelly - to be expected at a venue that people come to sweat), that wasn’t an acceptable experience and to be talked down to the whole class “this is HOT yoga guys, it’s supposed to be HOT” “you’ll get used to it and get stronger” was also unappealing. I had to step outside twice to cool down at the risk of passing out (I was well hydrated and ate 1-2 hours before the class). Multiple other students were repeatedly stepping out (both new and regular students) and regular students confirmed other instructors do not keep the room this hot, April does this intentionally. If you’re going to make it that hot, then maybe include breaks or limit the moves that rush blood to and away from the head to avoid feeling faint. I shouldn’t be out of breath without doing any cardio. To be clear, nowhere in the class description does it indicate it’s a hotter than normal yoga class (typically max heat is 108F in most other classes). Also for context, I do MMA, Solidcore and hot yoga regularly and have tried multiple hot yoga classes/structures in NYC and LA so this review isn’t coming from a place of ignorance. Eventually even April stepped out to turn down the temp, but front desk wouldn’t admit it was too hot, they insist it’s kept at 104F but that the humidity or more people in the room may make it feel hotter. Idk guys, just my experience and I’ve heard other instructors are better - just beware of April’s class specifically.
