About

This gym offers a straightforward fitness experience focused on gym disciplines with accessible equipment and amenities. Members appreciate the convenient location with easy mass transit access, newer model equipment that generally functions well, and a clean main workout area where dumbbells are typically organized. The front desk staff is often described as friendly, and the facility provides cold drinks through an on-site fridge for post-workout refreshment.

reviewsWhat Members Say

Members report generally functional equipment that is often newer models, with a clean main workout area and friendly front desk staff. However, multiple reviewers consistently complain about dirty bathrooms in the evenings that remain uncleaned for hours, describing this as an ongoing issue. Some members experienced significant management problems during the transition to PureGym, including billing issues, denied access despite paid memberships, and rude treatment from staff. While some praise the gym's upscale atmosphere compared to other chain locations, others note a small locker room, temperature control issues, and inconsiderate members who slam weights without enforcement.

-this is an upper class bourgeoisie experience of a gym, does not feel like a blink fitness location -every machine worked when i was here -exceptionally clean -much of the equipment was newer models, not old stuff from a few years ago or decades back like many other chain gyms -the people that go here are of different class than the common blink gym. you will notice and feel that -friendly front desk staff -easy access by mass transit -some negatives - no paper towels, gym was ice cold there as was no heat here at all during the evening of feb '25, when it was 29 degrees outside, the locker room is very small, at least the seating area and i actually think it's the smallest locker room in any gym in the city. with that being said, the architects could have been more creative and made it larger but they were just too lazy when they designed this place; mean they went to architect school for this. it's not like this locker room gym was designed by a kid in high school, come on.

Pros; Convenient location. You don’t find a lot of dumbbells lying around. Cold drinks/fridge Clean location Cons; Dirty bathroom. I just started attending this location and the few times same scenario. In the evenings, the bathrooms are nasty.

Equipment is fine, occasionally one broken but fixed within a few weeks. Rising number of inconsiderate people slamming the weights whenever they can. Having signs up is a nice bare minimum but those people don't care unless there's enforcement.

Unacceptable Bathroom Conditions – Ongoing Issue** I will continue to speak up until something changes. I don’t visit this gym often, but every time I do—especially in the evenings between 7 PM and 11 PM—the women’s bathroom is consistently dirty. What’s even more frustrating is coming in to a dirty bathroom, working out for 2–3 hours, and returning to find it still in the same unsanitary condition. That tells me nothing is being done during that entire time. It's unreal. Meanwhile, the staff is often just sitting at the front desk on their phones, clearly not paying attention to the state of the gym. It really feels like the night crew doesn’t care at all. If there’s no supervision at night, that might explain the lack of accountability—but it doesn't excuse it. To put things in perspective, I’ve been to several Planet Fitness locations that are much cleaner than this Blink Fitness. That should be a wake-up call. I hope management sees this and takes immediate steps to fix the problem. Cleanliness should never be optional. Next time, I’ll be taking + posting photos with time stamps to show exactly how long these conditions are left unchecked—along with the staff on duty. Something needs to change, and accountability is clearly overdue.

I was a Blink Fitness member for three years before this location transitioned to PureGym. Since the change, the experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Despite paying for two memberships ($36 and $20), I was denied access to the gym. I raised this issue with the manager several times and was repeatedly told that it was “out of his hands” and that I needed to email corporate. No one attempted to fix my access, explain the double billing, or provide any real assistance. During my most recent visit, the manager was rude, obnoxious, and raised his voice at me, repeatedly telling me that I “cannot get in,” even though my memberships were paid. Instead of helping de-escalate or resolve the situation, he made it worse. After four attempts to resolve billing and access issues, I received no solution, no accountability, and no customer service. Being charged while denied entry is unacceptable. I have now terminated my membership and requested refunds and chargebacks for services I was not allowed to use. This location is not consumer-friendly and seriously needs improvement in management professionalism and customer care.
