If you’re looking for a truly excellent barre experience, come to this studio! I came for my first ever barre class with two friends and didn’t know what to expect. Alexander went out of his way to learn all of our names, and was so encouraging and supportive while also assuring us that it was ok to take breaks. And, he played great music! Class was very challenging but so much fun; you can tell there is a real sense of community within the studio. I will definitely be back!!

Had a great time in Alexander’s class. I’m used to 45-minute barre classes, so I was worried this one might be too intense but it was perfect. I worked hard, but there were also plenty of good stretches. I left feeling happy and energized. Alexander is an excellent teacher: attentive, gives helpful corrections, and offers clear cues

Was in from Switzerland for Thanksgiving and stumbled on Alexander at Barre None. What a pleasant surprise as I was looking for a seriously good barre workout like I was used to at Exhale on Madison Ave. Alexander was just the right find. Alexander is a true professional. He keeps class simple and well paced to ensure that every member is in the correct position, working within their ability, and getting the most out of each movement. Unlike the chain workout brands where full classes are the main objective, Alexander provides individualized instruction to ensure proper alignment and opportunity. I am confident that I am getting stronger without the risk of injury. The results are evident.

It really is the best barre class!! Alexander and all of the instructors he brings in are so attentive to detail. As a former ballet dancer, I’ve spent years searching for a workout that challenges/refines/maintains my body, prevents injuries and makes me feel great. BARRE NONE delivers all of that and more. The workouts are intense yet low-impact, leaving me feeling stronger, longer, and more aligned. Plus, the intimate studio atmosphere makes it feel like a best-kept secret. Whether you have a dance background or not, this place won't disappoint. Highly recommend!
